The Hidden Village, Khao Yai

The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable! Happy that we stayed here!

These are small things - The water took quite a while to heat up. It would also be nice if there was at least a way to use the internet on the TV. A smart device was brought to the room so that we could use Netflix, which was nice, but each time we left the room, we would need staff to come with a keyboard to log back into the wifi.

The staff was very friendly and always helpfull.

Pleasant spacious rooms with very comfortable bed. Daily free snacks in the mini bar. Bathtub is a nice touch. Each room surrounded by luscious greenery.

The property lacks a centre of gravity, where you could enjoy a buzzy atmosphere vs privacy of own terrace. Pool area is very plain and dated, and does not encourage hanging out as all loungers are covered by fake leather highly unpleasant in the heat. Break out areas across the property are not placed thoughtfully to enjoy most beautiful views of nature and feel like an afterthought. The restaurant feels very dated and was completely empty during our stay. Breakfast is a disaster. You pre-order a chosen menu the day before and it's delivered to your room. All the European style breakfasts seem to be poorly prepared using low quality ingredients and does not feel very fresh (cold egg, cheap ham/ sausage, cold white toast bread, tinned tuna). Very limited choice of hot beverages (only coffee/ black tea). Whilst staff are overall pleasant and try to be helpful, the communication was poor. I was cornered by the receptionist to highlight I got make up on one of the towels, which was an awkward situation for no reason. When we booked a car for the day to explore the area, we were not informed that the we had to pay the driver in cash or that price did not include travel to the National Park and would incur an additional fee beyond cost of park entry.

Very well located , incredible service . Very nice “room service”for breakfast and diner, family managed. Had a villa with swimming pool with a beautiful decoration, all in details, extraordinary view and lots of calm. All in all much better than a traditional 5 stars hotel. Staff very discret but very nice, very helpful and efficient. Thank you for doing your best to help us have an incredible stay . Will come back.

De locatie was prachtig, het huisje was alles erop en eraan. Perfect om als koppel een romantisch gezellig moment samen te beleven. Het resort is klein en gezellig wat zorgt voor een persoonlijke touch en dit geeft een zeer warm en welkom gevoel. En last but not least, de gastheer was top! Goed Engels en enorm lieve zachte jongeman. Hij was ook echt een meerwaarde!

Heel weinig eigenlijk... voor ons was het beetje droef daar mijn vrouw ziek was waardoor we niet maximaal hebben kunnen genieten. Maar dit had natuurlijk niks met het resort te maken. Er viel dus zeer weinig op aan te merken.
