The Hidden Village, Khao Yai

Room and bathroom are very beautiful, spacious and clean. The resort is close to the entrance of the national park. The transfer to the airport was booked and organized for us. Breakfast variety is good. We have been to Thailand before and have never been treated in such a disrespectful and unfriendly way. We were told to pay a "penalty" because there were stains in our towels (sun screen or make-up). The amount of this "penalty" was greatly exaggerated and no explanation offered on how it was determined. The water in the swimming pool was very cloudy - asking staff about it, we were said this was because it was a salt water pool and that this was normal. On the photos the water is much clearer though. We have been to resorts with salt water pools before and it was not comparable. On our third day there there were workers at the pool during the whole day. We weren't offered a discount for not being able to use the pool. At departure we refused to pay the "penalty" for the towels and this was accepted by the employee because of the pool situation. We had stayed at the beach the weeks before and had bites from sand flies - in every conversation, the employee mentioned these bites and commented on our bodies, which we found especially irritating and rude. The breakfast is served to the room in clingfilm. It seemed to had been preserved in the fridge, eggs and pancakes were cold. There was no coffee or tea offered with breakfast, we had to make it ourselves in the room. The seating furniture at the terrace was not clean. The view to mountains and forests promoted doesn't apply to the villa we had.

This resort was truly amazing. We stayed at the vila in front of the mountains with private pool and this was one of the best places I ever been at. Everything was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is 7 minutes drive from Kaoh Yai entrance, very good location.

No restaurant in the resort (it is under construction). The breakfast was delivered to room which is pretty convenient, but changes that we asked in breakfast were not implemented. We received same breakfast everyday regardless the changes we requested day before.

They have the best staff in KHAO YAI hotels, Keep us happy all the 8 nights We spent with them, Restaurant has fresh items, various food, very professional chefs We booked 2 rooms with them, Up grade one of them to 2 bedroom with swimming pool keep every one of my family happy, location is great, they do daily free laundry for all of us, When We visit Thiland in the future of coarse this resort will be in our plan. The Hidden Village Khao Yai is a great place to stay if you intend to tour the National Park. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed. Paying the extra for the private pool was worth it! The staff were very welcoming and attentive.

A gym would be very welcome.

absolutely fabulous hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful, atmosphere is mesmerizing and villas are beautiful. There's a lot of attention to details and comfort and eveything is very service oriented. They truly went out of their way to make our stay even more memorable! The khao yai tour we booked through the hotel was really fun and the dinner in the restaurant next to the hotel was very good as well. If you're very lucky, there might even be an elephant roaming around the neighborhood, but we just missed the rare sight as we were in the park. Hopefully next time. We highly recommend this hotel!

Our family frequents Khao Yai but this is by far the best accomodation weve stayed in. Villas are visually stunning, set amongst lush greenery with an extra spacious veranda that we love. Inside, the rooms are beautifully appointed, the toilets are huge and spotless, and the mini bar comes stocked with complimentary refreshments, including drip coffee and even beer. Our living room opens up to the private pool with the forest and mountains as backdrop, a breathtaking view that will be surely hard to forget. Breakfast was great and served in the room on time. However, what truly made our stay exceptional is Dave and his team. Service is not only excellent, it is also very personal. We felt everybody's warmth in making sure that our family was enjoying our stay. I would recommend this to anyone especially families who want to spend quality time together in a perfect setting. Will definitley be back
