Sunrise Beach Resort

Sunrise Beach Resort is definitely a hidden gem! It’s even so much nicer than on the pictures here. If you’re looking for a beautiful, calm and quiet place where you don’t have to care for anything, this is it. Pen is a great host who is always reachable and gave us lots of great tips what to see on the island. The beach bungalow is clean and spacious and the outside area with a small private terrace with a couch and a hammock and direct access to the beach is a dream. There is also a nice pool and a common area with seats and a fridge where you can help yourself with drinks 24/7. We tried various breakfast options which were all excellent and also the dinner we enjoyed in the restaurant was great. You can easily rent a motorbike directly at the reception and they also offer a (very quick) laundry service. Kayaks and SUP’s as well as many outdoor games are available free of charge. We can truly recommend this place and will definitely book it again if we happen to come back to Koh Chang!

Inhaberin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit; schöne und gepflegte Anlage, auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht. Thai-Küche auch köstlich.

Das Resort liegt sehr abgelegen und es gibt fussläufig nur zwei andere kleine Hotels/Restaurants, das muss man mögen.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Beach Resort on Koh Chang. The entire team is incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. The food was delicious every single day, with a great variety and fresh ingredients. One of the absolute highlights is the breathtaking location. The resort is directly on a beautiful, quiet beach, which feels almost private. Our bungalow was just steps from the sea, very clean, comfortable, and perfectly designed to enjoy the ocean atmosphere. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and watching the sunset right from the beach was unforgettable. The whole resort has a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to truly unwind and enjoy nature. We would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend Sunrise Beach Resort to anyone visiting Koh Chang!

De eigenaresse was erg aardig en behulpzaam. De kano’s en dergelijke waren gratis te gebruiken. Zorg als je van het eiland afgaat, zo vroeg mogelijk vertrekt anders moet je misschien wel twee uur wachten voor de oversteek naar het vaste land.

Het was goed! Het enige zou zijn dat je zo’n 15 minuten moet rijden om bij de restaurants en barren te komen.

After reading through various raving reviews about P'Pen and Sunrise Resort, we had to go find out for ourselves whether they actually live up to the hype as things sounded almost too good to be true. But let me tell you, the tranquille resort and its amazing owner/manager outright exceeded our expectations in every regard. P'Pen has one of the most attentive and service minded personalities I've ever encountered in a hospitality setting. She literally makes sure each and every need , inquiry or request are catered to. As it was my girlfriend's birthday, I had for instance asked whether it would be possible to organize a cake for her. P'Pen went above and beyond by not only providing a full birthday surprise including cake and balloons in or room but also offering us a free upgrade. I mean, that just says it all. She's amazing, everyone working there is kind and respectful and the place is just overall lovely.

There's absolutely nothing I can think of right now. It's an island and rainy season just ended, so be prepared for a few mosquitos or the odd insect here or there, but that's just what it is.

Quizás que no hay televisión, aunque para un extranjero no hace falta ver mucha ,!!! Y que está un poco lejos de todo , se necesita vehículo si quieres hacer cosas por la isla , lo que encarece la estancia!! Pero es un sitio precioso!!

Lovely room and location to the beach. Literally next to it. Lovely.
