Too many buildings

I loved the locations as it opened up to the sea shore. From morning to night you could enjoy the sea and its surroundings. I even saw so a sea turtle coming to the shore as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Morning walk in the beach was super beautiful. The pool was amazing it’s spacious and definitely a relaxing space.

The property is somewhat old and I could see that inside the room. However it didn’t stop us from enjoying the stay.

Breakfast was very poor. Pancakes were like cardboard, no variety and everything cooked well before the diners arrived so often cold and hard food. No hoppers or string hoppers during the week. The dining room selection was only good at the weekend when many Sri Lankan tourists arrived. I had a massage, the massage was good but the room it is in, in the basement, terrible with with a very loud noise from the hotels air conditions in the room. This room needs to be changed to a quiet location. Mattress had seen better days and you could hear the springs when you sat on the side of the bed. They allowed me a late check out but I had to pay US$50 extra for this extra time even though the hotel wasn't busy on the night I left. Music around the pool was so loud, I asked for it to be turned down but 20 minutes later it was on full blast. I think the music is more for the staff than the customers.

Nice Beach Hotel with Delicious Food. They did some special arrangements for our anniversary too.
