Seerock The King's Domain, Boutique Hotel

The staff is very friendly and welcoming and welcomed us with their signature syambala/ tamarind drink which was really tasty. I’ve had syambala but never had a drink and the drink was executed so well, natural and sweet but not too sweet. The place is very quiet and calm and a good place to visit if someone likes the calm and quiet nature. The room are spacious and big and I think all the rooms have a jacuzzi, and the jacuzzi is huge and can fit 2 adults for a spacious relaxing time and fit 3 adults and even a child for a fun family time. They also provide complimentary ginger cookies, tea and so on in the room. The room also has a net that we can put incase there’s mosquitos but there were very less mosquitos as we made sure to keep the doors closed so we don’t use the net. They ALs have a small pool a bit more isolated form the rest of the hotel which again makes it calm and peaceful. The hotel also had a buffet for us and there was a combination of mostly Sri Lankan food as well as a few western foods. Overall, the food was good. The buffet was in the queens pavilion and we could slightly also see the pidurangala rock. A staff member that out stood the others was Nimesh, the operations manager. He was with our group the whole time looking out for us and ensuring our time at the hotel was good. But ofc there were more friendly staff but I was unable to get their names. Overall the stay was peaceful and relaxing.

Attentive and kind staff and the cozy ambience of the place. The room is far superior and prettier than the photos. The chalet design of the rooms and the jacuzzi were the highlights. The hotel is very beautiful overall. Everything was clean despite the jungle type location. The staff weren't overpowering - just available in the right way.

Not related to the hotel but the area is not in the city side which restricts you from being out too late at night due to elephant scares. The food tastes good and had a decent range - but it could improve significantly as someone who is vegetarian may not have many options. The staff did their best to accommodate all requests.

Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Check the room facilities before checking guests in, the show was not working in our room and we needed to change. Check crockery before serving, we given a cracked and chipped glass.
