Notre séjour a été exceptionnel avec le personnel qui était aux petits soins, plein de petites attentions au quotidien . Si nous revenons au Srilanka pour un prochain séjour nous viendrons ici 🥰

Rien, tout était parfait !

The surroundings the amazing huge room with a jacuzzi huge beds high ceilings, balcony, lush greenery, most of all the staff. Very helpful courteous ready to help. They arrange transport in Tuk Tuk if needed. Peacocks different birds. Quiet nature right in the forest.

The breakfast options could be better like a buffet. Due to solar panels hot water was rather not very go good. Rather far from the main city. Once youre in youre stuck unless you have transport.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It is very beautifullly located in nature, the rooms are lovely with high ceilings and super clean and a very good mosquito net. We got fresh water bottles every morning when the room was cleaned which was very helpful. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. Also we wish we had had more time to go swimming in their beautiful and clean pool.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, just some info points to help decision making: - if you want the Sri Lankan breakfast you need to tell the staff the night before. It is very good, so definitely try it. - the hotel is located outside of Sigiriya town and is reached via a road that isn't paved. So the last stretch takes longer for cars as they have to go very slowly and is quite bumpy. Also if you stay in the town until later e.g. For dinner, get a car not a tuktuk because there are wild dogs and elephants along the road. - as the hotel is located a bit outside (as I said very quiet and peaceful) you have no other restaurant options nearby apart from the hotel restaurant. The restaurant is nice, however prices are 2-3 times higher than in the city centre and we were a bit sad that the menu lacked a range of local Sri Lankan dishes.

Condition of the road to the property.

Ein wundervolles Hotel in idyllischer ruhiger Lage. Tolle kleine Bungalows mit einer wirklich tollen Ausstattung und sogar ein Jacuzzi im Zimmer. Das Bett war wundervoll zum Schlafen. Das Personal war total freundlich und bemüht. Am letzten Tag konnten wir vor der Abreise noch ausgiebig am Pool relaxen. Auch ein großes Dankeschön an den Chef. Ein wirklich herzlicher netter junger Mann. Können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen

Es war alles perfekt

The hotel is very good. They helped us to book the Safari. They have great people working there. They remember what we like for breakfast each day. The rooms are big with air conditioning

Wir haben uns für diese Unterkunft aufgrund des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses und Lage in der Nähe von Sigirya entschieden und wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal war unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend und konnte uns bei all unseren Anliegen weiterhelfen. Wir konnten kurzfristig eine tolle Safari organisieren und haben sehr viele Elefanten gesehen. Wir waren ausserdem sowohl auf dem Sigirya Lion Rock (nachmittags) und zum Sonnenaufgang auf dem gegenüberliegenden Pidurangala Rock (Was wir den besseren Spot fanden). Das Essen war sehr authentisch und sehr lecker und wurde von der schärfe her immer unseren Wünschen angepasst. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass wir an jedem Abend verschiedene Currys bekommen haben und das traditionelle Rice & Curry dadurch jeden Mal etwas anders war.

Wir hätten es schön gefunden wenn sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zum Abendessen bereits eine grosse Flasche Wasser für uns beide bereitgestanden wäre. Zumal auf dem Zimmer pro Tag nur jeweils eine kleine Flasche pro Person bereit stand.

The hotel is located in the middle of the jungle, and this makes it an experience by itself. The rooms are very spacious, and designed with care, as well as extremely clean. The hotel isn’t new but it retains the charme of the 80s splendour. Special remark goes to the incredible staff, especially the hotel manager, that went above and beyond to ensure a lovely stay.

Personal try to be very friendly.

Most probably 10 years ago - hotel was in good shape, but now a lot of maintenance/repairs/rebuilt needed. Same food for breakfast every day. Road condition to the hotel is very poor.
