My mother and I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay here, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the scenery and the hospitality. The natural beauty of the island is simply breathtaking—the beach features the softest white sand, and the ocean is a striking Tiffany blue with beautifully distinct layers of color. The resort itself is exceptionally well-managed. Our room was kept flawlessly clean every day, providing a very comfortable space to relax. We also loved the food and beverage offerings, which were abundant, diverse, and of great quality. What truly sets this property apart is the attentive staff. Everyone was genuinely warm and welcoming; amazingly, they would remember our faces and greet us like friends after just a single interaction. A very special thank you goes to our butler, Eve. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful to assign us a Chinese-speaking butler upon noticing our nationality. Eve provided outstanding service and took perfect care of us throughout our entire trip.

To be honest, there isn't really anything we "didn't like," just a couple of small regrets. First, the seaplane transfer is a bit far. For travelers who already have a long layover getting to the Maldives, having to catch another seaplane right after arrival is honestly quite exhausting! Second, while it was lovely to see so many different kinds of little fish around the water villas, we did notice some dead corals. I'm not sure if it's due to the high volume of guests and frequent human activity over time, but it’s just a little bit of a pity to see. Other than these small things, everything was wonderful!

Emerald Faarufushi is hospitality at its best. From facilities to staff, everything is built around giving guests the best time ever.

Given price point, maybe some of the excursions could be included. Most of the additional activities are to be paid on the spot.

Location excellent - away from other resorts so genuine island feel. Amazing house reef - Rays, Turtles & Sharks. Great staff all the way through but special note to Nish - top bartender, Kumar our villa host and Sameera Fernando - amazing chef.

This hotel truly delivers 5-star white glove service from arrival in Male to departure from Male. The variety and quality of food was consistently excellent as were the snorkelling excursions. There are several areas with good coral and/or abundance of fish that one can snorkel to from the hotel itself that are shallow and can have relatively little current. We saw a number of eels, an octopus, a 5-6 ft long shark, and many beautiful large parrotfish, for example, in these areas. Hotel and its staff are incredibly flexible and guest focused - a real rarity today. We would suggest that the hotel add a guided night snorkel near the pier where there are already lights in the evening that attract a lot of fish and feeding action! A bat feeding station would be cool as well. Large flying foxes seem to commute to the island daily.

It was naturally beautiful and the facilities are seamlessly integrated. The tree lines were even gorgeous. The swimming is so refreshing and the water is practically invisible. It’s like a fantasy. There’s no mosquitos. The guests were all relaxed and quiet. There is so much personal spaces in the villas that the other beaches were basically empty. The restaurants always had space available. Every day we talked about how amazing it was. I snorkelled with so many fish and even Manta Rays! The gorgeous Maldives came to life out of the photos. The food was delicious included some of the best meals of our lives. The staff was the best, spectacular service and friendly and chatty. It was twelve days of smiles and laughter

We weren’t there long enough. Haha we had beautiful blue skies our entire visit the only blemish was the hazy horizon yet we still had many beautiful sunsets.
