Perfect getaway location if you need to have some time for yourself :) High on the rocks, but steps may be challenging for elderly or small children. Great seaview, tasty food, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed & good cleaning service.

Absolutely loved Plaa’s! The property is stunning, the owners are lovely and the food is delicious. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!

Localisation is just perfect, there is stunning view on the beach and jungle mountains. Yes, there are some stone steps up the hill to get to the resort and it is a short walk trough the beach from the place where you can park a car or motorbike, do it might be inconvenient for those traveling with suitcases. But it is written on the page and the view, peaceful atmosphere and almost private beach is well worth every inch of the struggle. There is delicious food in the restaurant and the owner is a charming lady. Resort is located in the National Park, there are only two places to start there, so you can have the beach almost on your own. The bungalows are also very nice and cosy with beautiful balconies. I guess they would use a little renovation, especially as for bathroom, but they are just as on the photos on the page. When we arrived, the door im our bungalow was destroyed, we could bot close them properly and there was absolutely no problem with changing the hut. :)

I think the bungalow could be a little bit cleaner, there were some spiders web around. But generally, there was clean.

Bungalows were clean & had excellent facilities. The staff were extremely helpful. Restaurant had good selection of food. Location is stunning - a great getaway on Koh Phangan.

The location of the stay was breathtaking. For sure It is quite a hard-work to climb up to the resort and strongly not recommended for children or for the aged, but once you are up there; you’ll find all the hard work was worthwhile. The rooms are also super comfortable, with the best views you can get at Koh Phangan. Finally, Thansadet beach, a medium sized beach, furthest away from city to the East, therefore less visited and incredibly scenic. You can rent scooters from the beach and ride to the city through the beautiful mountains. Lastly, food was very delicious; and Plaa was also an amazing host.

Will not recommend to families with kids and elderlies. But an amazing stay for everyone else!

Spacious room built into boulders on a mountainside, great view of the bay and excellent service and steamed fish.

Tricky to find. You have to go past the gate of the waterfall park (tell the guard you’re staying at the hotel) and then park behind the restaurant that fronts the beach, then walk left until you find a way up over the rocks and onto a bamboo ramp that takes you into steps leading to various bungalows. Find the big building up top, where reception is at the restaurant. August the water was not clear at all.

We had a great time at Plaa's! We were 2 friends looking for a beautiful and calm place and booked our 3 first nights here, we thought we would move around the island in different hotels but ended up staying in our beloved bungalow for our entire 10 nights! The resort overlooks the ocean and has magnificent views (from both the rooms and the restaurant terrace). The couple who own and run the resort are very sweet and helpful and cook great food! There is a nice family vibe with all their employees, this is their ancestral land. The prices of rooms and food are very reasonable for the quality and charm of the place, we were very happy about that! The wifi works super well. Thansadet beach is probably the best place to swim on the island, there is always enough depth to enjoy a dip. The days we wanted to visit the rest of the island, we rented a scooter from the restaurant on the beach and moved around. We had a lovely and relaxing time in the middle of nature and we would definitely come back :)
