Lovely staff, really clean

The room was good as well as the porch. Loved swimming in the pool under the stars. If you're looking for a very quiet, reasonably priced place then Phatcheree works. It's a few minutes walk to a very shallow, very clear beach with kite surfing and wing foils and not much else. You can walk 15 minutes or so through dark paths to the night market.

The location wasn't the best for us. We like a little more action or to be a little closer to the beach. You have to have a scooter or pay a lot for taxis to access more happening places on the island. Beware, while a scooter crash may result in a few scrapes to the knee it will also cost you a lot in scrapes to the actual scooter.

The place is very quiet, no annoying birds, no trucks or motorcycles nearby. The beds are very hard but they're still comfortable. They're individual coils kind. I didn't try missionary on them though. The staff is nice. Location is a bit out but it's not a problem if you have a bike. On the night of the half moon I heard some bass but it very weak. I think later at night I didn't hear it anymore. I liked the cute cats too.

I received a Bungalow that was tilted, I didn't notice it at first, the water in the bathroom went to the side, I only noticed it when I went to sleep, it was like sleeping on the side of the mountain, once you feel it you can't unfeel it. Thankfully there was another free bungalow and the manager agreed for me to move the next night.

The location is good, however, if you want to reach party places or visit nice beaches, you'd better rent a scooter. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The road leading to the hotel is dark at night but it's not a problem, as it's a short distance. The staff are welcoming, the guests were quiet, the swimming pool is quite big and clean. There's a pool table (billiard) in the reception area. The nearby beach is good for relaxing, as it's peaceful and not crowded. However, it's not suitable for swimming (January).

The pillows were uncomfortable for the first night, but this problem was fixed after we requested to change them. There can be insects in the room coming from the outside (which is understandable and not surprising when you stay in a bungalow). So, we used the towel to cover the space between the entrance door and the floor. Sadly, the reception area closes quite early. We wanted to play pool at 9 pm but the reception was locked.

Beautiful territory of bungalows . Bungalow was clean.
