Baan Thai Lanta Resort

The villas and the grounds are stunning. The gardening is impeccable and it feels very tropical. It is lovely to walk through the hotel. The staff are great. One of the most beautiful places we stayed it while on our trip in Thailand

The beach is not really for swimming. You can swim a bit when it's high-tide, but even then, it's not the best. Unfortunately with the location, there are many rocks. Nothing you can do, but the view is stunning.

Die fantastisch gepflegte Anlage, die geschmackvoll eingerichteten Villas und die Lage sind traumhaft. Täglich werden Pflanzen, Wege und der Seerosenteich gepflegt. Das Frühstück wird individuell zubereitet und bietet ein umfangreiches frisches Buffet. Der Restaurantbereich um den Pool ist geschmackvoll angelegt und der Liegebereich entlang des Strands ist beispielhaft.

Es hätte nichts besser sein können.

Possibly one of the most relaxed places we’ve ever stayed. Koh Lanta is such a superb island and Baan Thai made our stay even more special. We were lucky enough to have 5 nights here and I could not have imagined how incredible it was going to be. The grounds are superb, so much love and care. The rooms are all nestled into the immaculately maintained gardens giving you such a great sense of privacy and serenity. The beach is so peaceful and, at high tide it’s lovely to swim and snorkel in. The breakfast is incredible and the staff are such lovely and caring people. Also, the cocktails are the best we had on our whole visit to Thailand. 5 nights wasn’t enough and I miss this place so much already. Thank you Baan Thai!

There’s nothing not to like

Het is een schitterende locatie met zeer vriendelijk personeel en heel lekker en verzorgd eten. De kamers waren fantastisch, leek een beetje op Balinese style, veel hout. De kamer was heerlijk groot met een fijne veranda. Prima strandbedden. Inderdaad waren er rotsen in de zee doch hier had je weinig last van bij hoog water. 7 eleven op loopafstand evenals verschillende restaurantjes maar je moet echt in het restaurant van het resort eten!

In de avond was er niemand in het restaurant, iedereen ging buiten de poort eten .Hebben er enen avond zelf gegeten ,was erg goed ( private dining). Puntje voor het management om hier naar te kijken.

Die Liebe zum Detail und die schöne Natur. Es ist sehr ruhig.

Im Meer war alles steinig.

Mycket fin miljö med vacker omgivning. De lade vackra färska blommor utanför rummet varje dag. Rummet är stort och välstädat. Vi njöt av vackra solnedgångar direkt från solstolen. Hotellet har gott om solstolar så du är aldrig utan. Lyxigt att ha tillgång och närhet både till havet och pool. Det är väldigt lugnt och behagligt. All personal var väldigt vänlig.

Frukosten hade kunnat vara bättre. Fanns inte så många alternativ. Sängen lite hård

Das Hotel und die gesamte Anlage waren wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Man hat sich gefühlt wie in einer paradiesischen Oase! Wir hatten einen Bungalow in erster Reihe zum Strand (Haus 2, sehr zu empfehlen!), das war wirklich traumhaft schön und wir konnten von unserer Terrasse aus das Meer sehen & hören. Es gab immer freie Liegen am Pool und Strand und allgemein war es einfach total entspannt. Die Bungalows waren sehr sauber.. wir hatten vorher Angst wegen Moskitos, aber das war gar nicht so schlimm wie erwartet. Das Frühstück hat eine gute Auswahl an Speisen, besonders die Pancakes gab es für uns jeden Morgen.

The gardens were well manicured, which made the place more peaceful. Lot of day beds and bean bags by the beach, so we never had to worry. Breakfast was good too.

The stench from the bathroom was unbearable and it continued throughout our stay. This was unacceptable for the price we paid.

The property grounds were emasculate. Everything was perfectly taken care of. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast area around the swimming pool was very pleasant.

We felt the beach area could have been kept cleaner but the beach facilities were very good.
