Sunset Bungalow Koh Chang Ranong

Die Lage, direkt an dem wunderschönen Strand ist einfach traumhaft. Das Bungalow hat mir in echt sogar noch besser gefallen und in der Hängematte konnte ich super entspannen. An diesem Ort findet man auf jeden Fall zur Ruhe. Die Familie ist auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die Betten waren nicht die bequemsten, aber das hat mich an so einem wunderschönen Ort nicht wirklich gestört.

Superbe guesthouse sur la plage, très agréable pour se poser et se détendre. La famille qui tient la guesthouse est adorable.

La propreté est un peu limite

I loved my stay at Sunset Bungalow—unfortunately far too short. I arrived the day before Christmas, and they kindly upgraded me to an amazing bungalow right in front of the sea. The food is truly delicious and varied, with very fair prices for the island, and they offer many vegan options. The lovely elderly woman who started this place 30 years ago with passion even repaired a large tear in my sarong for free, carefully machine-stitching it herself. Such a rare and touching gesture. I also met a German man who has been coming here for 24 years—very telling of the place. The place is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful beach right in front. At the same time, there are other restaurants and small shops within walking distance (about 15–20 minutes), which makes the location very convenient. I really appreciated their commitment to reducing plastic on the island, offering a paid water refill service instead of plastic bottles. The relaxed common area with books, and all the small details—drawings, paintings, and handmade touches—give this place a beautiful, warm energy.

Everything was really lovely. Just a small practical suggestion: in my bungalow, some windows couldn’t be fully closed because the curtain rods blocked the mosquito screens, so a bit of humidity came in at night. It could also be nice to have a small container of water to wash feet before going up to the veranda after the beach.

Beautiful spot. The restaurant area and terrace are nicely decorated. Staff is very polite, flexible, available and easy going. It's a beautiful beach with a nice and raw beauty, jungle is beautiful also. I have good times there and beautiful memories

The price. Bungalows are very dark and humid and not very well managed for this price I expected more honestly. There are rats coming inside during the night eating our stuff. I don't mind nature and I know it's the jungle but I feel there should be a way to close the bungalows for rats not to enter that easily and sheets should be cleaned more often and pillows put outside to air to avoid this smell. I Ve lived in jungle areas many times and humidity smell can be avoided Prices of the restaurant are way too much. Nothing is free even a small bad instant coffee Unfortunately like every where in Thailand I feel tourists are paying too much and taken advantage of The space is wonderful don't get me wrong and the staff super kind but i feel prices are abusive

Unterkunft war einfach (absolut ok wenn man sich dessen bewusst ist 👍), aber sehr gemütlich. Hinweis: Sand Flies am Nachmittag/Abend

The area was really cool and nice vibe from the place and the family. Even tho they island feels isolated there were several guest there. Very comfy great view, amazing corner by the bar amd beach where u can lay down an read, many books there. I really like the place. To get to the bungalow amd back to pier cost 100 baht. At pier there r people who can take u there amd from bungalow they arrange one for you. Also u can rent a bike from sunset bungalow which can be bought to the pier. I would not recommend to drive there tho unless your are doin it for year. Not everywhere is Asphalt, its hilly depending where u r goin and slippery. I was glad when I decided to walk instead the bike after seeing the roads.

The communication via wht app should be better and more helpful. Didnt get all my questions answered.
