Moon River Resort Phimai

Le cadre est très agréable, le quartier est calme. A proximité du centre à pied, compter une quinzaine de minutes. Bien placé pour visiter le Centre historique. Compter une vingtaine de minutes à pied. Les logements sont propres. Le WiFi est bon également. Possibilité de se garer devant gratuitement. Nous avons apprécié la qualité de l'accueil. Petit déjeuner correct pour 100 Bath par personne.

La salle de bain mériterait un rafraîchissement mais elle est fonctionnelle.

Beautiful location. Loved the dock on the river. Spacious yet basic rooms. Lovely host and staff. Ideal location to explore Phimai.

Delightful budget resort on the banks of Northeast Thailand's Mun River (hence the name Moon River). Proprietors Christian and Chin welcomed us and advised on attractions, restaurants, local happenings. Our room was clean with a view on the river, the mattress comfortable, the wading birds of the river within range of our camera's long lens. A bridge that puts Phimai temple within a 15-20 minute walk was closed for renovation when we were there, so Christian kindly drove us. Bicycles were also available for free. We enjoyed our time and would gladly go back.

The nearby bridge is being repaired, meaning the resort is much further away from the center of town than normal when the bridge is open.

The serenity of the property and the view of the river/lake are wonderful. I could have stayed there longer, just to relax. For the price, the room and view-platforms exceeded my expectations. When the road works end the location will be fantastic.
