Bananas Resort & Restaurant

It was a very friendly and welcoming hostel. I had my own bungalow which had everything one needed. It is in a beautiful, jungly setting, right on the sea front, with monkeys everywhere!. It's in a very quiet area of Krabi so nice and relaxing

It was amazing . I almost don’t want to say how good it was as I don’t want to share this hotel . I hardly write a review but this place was so so amazing .

Ollie, the owner, is a nice and calm guy. He is happily running his business in the middle of nowhere. The Thai staff was very respectful, just as always. If you have a problem, Ollie will help you out. If you would like to eat dinner there is Crazy Horse, where everybody is also kind.

Although Ollie is a great owner, his international team (I guess volunteers) is terrible. Fake-smiles during the day and has a different personality at night. We booked five nights here based on the reviews: it is a quiet place and perfect for rest. After two nights without sleep because of the very loud staff, on our third night I decided to talk with them, who were shouting, drinking and smoking near our bungalow. I kindly asked them to move a bit further away to the common dining area, but one of the girls immediately sent me to hell in the rudest way I have ever experienced. Telling me to f*off is not a good way of dealing with the situation. The place is full of young backpackers who come here to hang out and smoke. If you want to relax, I would not recommend this place. If you are a twenty-something backpacker, this is the right place for you. Based on this experience, we cut our stay short. Ollie was correct and gave us a refund.

A really special place, the bioluminescence by the dock is amazing and a great place for sunset. Food is lovely and it's got a really nice and calm atmosphere. If you want to explore more, renting a bike is needed as grabs are about expensive and hard to get.
