Horizon Resort

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Schöne, einfache Anlage, abseits des Trubels. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Hütten sind herrlich, erinnerte mich an Thailand von vor 20 Jahren.

Great resort, beautiful sunrise and the staff the two ladies running the place were absolutely amazing, nothing was too difficult for them and always willing to help. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well. Koh Samet is stunning, and easy to get around via scooter. Rental of scooter can be done at the property which is about the standard price for the whole island. Although beach was not really swimmable, there is a swimmable beach just a short stroll, and that beach also includes fire shows and live music. The grounds were very clean, location is okay as well. A bit of ride into town but not far, having said that walking distance to the best place to watch sunsets . Included breakfast was good enough, and we would not hesitate to come and stay here again

Два отеля Horizon и Viking расположены на одной территории и принадлежат одному хозяину. Администрация, зона завтрака общая. Но номера (бунгало) Horizon расположены не вдоль береговой линии, а от неё вверх. Мне не понравилось только то, что мне дали самый далёкий номер от моря, к которому нужно подниматься вверх по ступеням, хотя в предварительной переписке я просила ближайший. Да, море видно где-то вдалеке, типа боковой вид, но прямо перед верандой задняя территория с парковкой, куда постоянно приезжают байки и такси. Видимо нужно было более внимательно выбирать номер при бронировании, а не обговаривать свои пожелания в переписке.

Очень навязчивая уборка территории, они постоянно что-то метут. Перед верандой с 7 утра уже человек с метлой. На веранду раздетой не выйти. Столько мусора нет, сколько они убирают, причём с утра и до темноты.
