Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa Country House

Tv in Herron room needs fixing.

I love the food and the environment was perfect.

Sondela is a beautiful place, the property is big, greatly located, very clean and naturistic. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's plenty of them, everywhere. The Country House we booked was absolutely stunning, clean, and very private from the rest of the reserve. The breakfast was good too, value for money. The room was not that big, but the private garden and spa bath makes up for it.

Everything was as expected, no issues experienced.

The property was clean, and is central for all activities in the game reserve.

We had a mosquito troubling us and unfortunately they didn’t have doom, if they could please stock up in case guests need it.

Breakfast was lovely, we had different options each day. It was lovely and quiet after the people in the adjacent unit were asked to quieten down. It was peaceful and relaxing even in the garden when it gets noisy at the resort next door. We will definitely be returning to the Country House. Tyron and Christine were amazing and catered to our every need. Vegetarian options were provided at mealtimes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the house is lovely and there is more than enough on offer to keep you busy if you can't sit still. We had an amazing weekend, thank you.

I have no complaints about the country house, staff and facilities (except for the cushions lying around in the braai area next to the pool). Full-cream yoghurt would have been a better option at breakfast. Some sweet biscuits or rusks would have been appreciated in the room. I found it unusual that only the first beverages at breakfast were included in the rate - it is the first time I have experienced having to pay for beverages at breakfast.
