El entorno es espectacular y las vistas de la piscina tambien. Buena comida, desayuno completo

Dificil acceso, sobre todo con la lluvia, bastante apartado de Kandy. La cama principal de la habitacion realmente cómoda pero las 3 supletorias no eran cómodas y no tenían sabanas. En el fondo de la piscina había dos tirafondos salientes y uno de nosotros se abrió la mano, le tuvieron que dar 5 puntos.

The views were stunning, and the staff were very hospitable. The meals were very fresh and the place was quite tranquil. Nalin is a gifted host. Pro tip: try star gazing if you are spending a night with a clear sky, you can thank me later.

The access roads to the property are bumpy and could be improved.

The location was very remote from the city which was very quiet and had amazing views of the jungle but very bumpy and long drive.

Need more maintenance and a little refresh of the interior will help.

Das Hotel hat eine einmalige Lage inmitten von Teeplantagen und Wald. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und ist auf dem Berg die einzige Unterkunft weit und breit. Die Straße zum Hotel ist abenteuerlich und geht steil bergauf und -ab. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Durch sie wurde der Aufenthalt zu einem echten Erlebnis. Die Mahlzeiten werden immer frisch zubereitet und waren lecker.

In jedem Zimmer hat eine Sache nicht funktioniert, bei einem der Ventilator, bei einem der Fernseher und bei einem der Kühlschrank. Für uns kein Problem, wir haben uns dementsprechend angepasst.

Beautiful location and amazing service.

The room was pretty dirty with molding cieling and bathroom door. The sheets seemed kind of dirty too. The location is amazing, views from the pool great, the house has a great potencial, but needs some works. We did not feel very comfortable in the room. It has great views though

Seuls au monde dans cet hôtel loin de tout (c'est le moins que l'on puisse dire !) Avec les bruits de la jungle en prime ! Un personnel au petits soins, un dîner et un petit déjeuner au top ! Nous étions seuls dans l'hôtel en cette nuit de Noël. Ils ont été trop mignons en se déguisant en père Noël pour les enfants, c'était un joli geste !

Ce n'est pas super propre et on sent qu'ils n'ont pas les moyens de rafraîchir les chambres. Il y a pas mal de petites choses qui laissent à désirer en tous cas pour nous, européens.

The room was stunning...walked into our room which we entered through a private bathing pool fit for a queen, filled with fresh filtered water. The bedroom and bathroom were great, very comfortable bed. The horizon pool overlooking the tea estate was a highlight, which was on one side of the hotel. On the other side, at the entrance were lovely gardens with nooks and seats under shady treeswhere you could relax, read a book or simply gaze out over the tea, cinnamon and pepper estate. It's some way out of Kandy-we were picked up by Chamara, the hotel manager extraordinaire from the main road where our taxi dropped us off. From that minute on, we were swept up and looked after so wonderfully! The food was delicious, cooked by Chamara and his also his wife. The estate owner Naleen despite being very busy took us on a tour of the estate explaining how he built it up to what it is now over the years. What a gift. Every single person we met was so kind, warm, genuine. For me, as a Sri Lankan myself, this kind of boutique luxury stands out far from the typical 5-star hotel experience, which can seem the same wherever you go. Strongly recommend for family celebrations, or when a whole bunch of us arrive home for holiday...to take over the place - there are spaces for all ages to enjoy. Do take the little walk across to the lookout shack...its gorgeous, and there are some majestic trees on the way, plus visit the lovely little Buddhist shrine 500 m down the road too.

Nothing at all! It was superb and I loved every single minute of my stay there. Even the heavy rainstorm!

Efter en strapatsrik resa fram till hotellet möttes vi av charmig och glad personal som under hela vistelsen fick oss att känna oss som hemma. Utsikten är magnifik och att bada i den härliga infinity-poolen var ljuvligt. Maten var generöst tilltagen o bland det bästa vi ätit i Sri Lanka. Härliga människor på ett härligt hotell. Rekommenderas!

På sidan finns det utbyggnadsplaner men inget som stör. Sista sträckan rekommenderar vi tuk tuk eller 4x4 då vägen är smal och blandat underlag. (men det är absolut värt resan!)
