Old Frankland Kandy Luxury Boutique Hotel

Fantastisch verblijf. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamer was heel ruim. Goedwerkende airco. Zwembad is geweldig met een prachtig uitzicht op theeplantages. Het personeel bracht ons de volgende dag ook naar de Ambuluwawa tower. Niets is hen echt te veel. We kwamen in de namiddag toe en ze maakten een heerlijke curry voor ons en dekten voor ons zelf de tafel aan het zwembad. Topervaring.

Helaas verbleven we hier maar 1 nacht. De locatie is prachtig, heel rustig, maar wel wat ver van alles. Als je rust wil is dit wel een geweldige spot.

Vue imprenable sur les montagnes , ambiance sereine et sereine, piscine à débordement splendide et personnel adorable et aux petits soins. Endroit idéal pour échapper à la frénésie de Kandy.

Un peu plus éloigné et accès avec la jeep de l hôtel

Nous étions les seuls dans l’hôtel vue exceptionnelle chambre confortable personnel au petit soin Un dîner nous a été préparé riz curry poulet tt était délicieux Il faut savoir que cet endroit se situe loin de la ville c’est compliqué d’y aller dîner L’hôtel prend en charge l’arrivée et le départ en tuk tuk en bas du chemin environ 15 mn de trajet et ensuite il faut prendre un autre transport c’est pourquoi il faut les appeler avant d’arriver. Nous étions là pour une nuit et repartions le lendemain pour Kandy, c’était agréable d’être au bout du monde.

L’hôtel aurait besoin d’une remise en état dommage que le bar soit laissé à l’abandon,les chaises longues sont en mauvaise état

The hotel is located in the heart of the nature, No city noise to disturb your peace, if you are a nature lover and looking for a getaway from the city this property is the perfect choice, The food was amazing, the best sri lankan food you can try here, The breakfast was AMAZING, and the gentleman who received us was very caring, and helpful, chamara was an amazing person who made our stay unforgettable.

The location was a bit tricky as our driver couldn’t find the hotel upon arrival, However, the hotel staff were in contact with him and we were able to arrive safely.

Mały mega kameralny hotelik zdala od czegokolwiek. Przepiękny widok na góry, plantacje herbaty, pieprzu i cynamonu. Będąc w hotelu czujesz się jak na krańcu świata. Przemiła obsługa i właściciel który odwiózł Nas po wykwaterowaniu do Kandy i pokazał Świątynie Zęba (bezinteresownie).

Nie podobało to za duże słowo. Dojazd najlepiej 4x4 I bardzo utrudniony przez wąską i dziurawą druszkę. Obiekt ogólnie trudny do znalezienia. Polecam kontakt telefoniczny przed dojazdem.

The hotel is in the middle of jungle, therefore the tranquility,privacy and view you will have is exceptional! The infinity pool just marvellous. The host is a really smiley, friendly and warm person! Breakfast was great. We were on our honeymoon and they prepared for us a welcome towel art and some flowers .

The location is not suitable, but the view and the peace you will experience it’s worth it. One of the towels were dirty and we found some spider webs on the lambs. Water was not hot. The mini fridge was not working.

Quiet place with a nice view. Staff was very kind and helpful and prepare some meal after our late evening arrival.

The hotel and its facilities look very old and deserve renovation. Beware of the distance from Kandy, we drove about 1,5 hours to the hotel from the city and the road is not very suitable for larger cars.

We visited the hotel on our honeymoon and the staff made our stay truly special. The hotel is amazing with a pool you can see mountains and tea plantations and the famous white tower next to Kandy. Everyone was so nice, the food is great and the athmosphere is over the top. You are staying in the middle of the jungel, unforgettable experience!

The road to the hotel is a bit tricky, it's on the top of a beautiful mountain, so I wouldn't advise if you are driving. Local tuktuks can manage easily though, ask the hotel to arrange one for you!
