Ikaros Beach, Luxury Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Very nice hotel with everything you need to have a relaxing time, choosing between outdoor pools, sauna or private beach. The buffet is amazing with a lot of choices. The gym is well equipped. The hotel has a lot of attentions and gratuities for the guests.

Just back from a weeks stay at the Ikaros beach so hopefully this review will be useful to anyone thinking of visiting Check in was swift and easy all done on your phone after scanning a QR code Room had everything we needed and was kept spotless by housekeeping as usual linen changed whenever requested. Nice comfy bed, good air conditioning, safe in room etc. Slept well with no noise from doors closing that you can sometimes get in hotels with little soft furnishings in the corridors. Resort was spread out but soon able to find your way around never a problem finding a spot in the sun or shade be it on the beach or one of the three pools. Food in main restaurant and à la carte restaurants very good my top pick would be the Asian at the sunset restaurant Plenty of bars serving premium spirits I had read that some guests waited a while to be served but never had this issue myself Staff absolutely excellent and must all be congratulated on their service proved Hotel does have a spa and indoor pool but I never visited this so can’t comment Would I return it’s a YES from me Don’t hesitate making your booking

Coming from UK to Crete , our stay at Ikaros Beach was nothing short of relaxing daytime and fun at the evenings. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking sea views, and pristine beach one step from sand, set the perfect tone for a relaxing getaway in Crete, in a rustic Cretan atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond, the food is really good and the grounds are beautifully maintained. While the daytime relaxation is unmatched, the absolute highlight of our evenings was the resort's entertainment—specifically the DJ and the incredible disco night! The DJ brought an amazing energy, perfectly reading the crowd and spinning a brilliant mix of tracks that kept everyone on their feet. You don’t see that very often in other hotels. The atmosphere during the disco night was electric, turning a beautiful Cretan night into an unforgettable celebration. It was the perfect blend of upscale luxury and vibrant fun. We can’t wait to come back next year at Ikaros resort, in Crete they seem know how to deliver top-tier evening.

We had a wonderful experience at the Aura Spa at Ikaros Beach Resort & Spa. A special thank you to Dimitri and his colleague for their kindness, professionalism and warm atmosphere. My partner and I visited the spa three times in one week because it was simply amazing every single time. The massages were excellent and they always used exactly the right amount of pressure, which made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable. Dimitri and his colleague truly made our holiday even more special with their positive energy and outstanding service. We highly recommend the Aura Spa to everyone visiting Crete. Thank you again for this great experience!

Gepflegte Anlage, schöne Zimmer, Sauberkeit und freundliches Personal

Kurz gesagt: Essensqualität, insbesondere im Hauptrestaurant und schlecht geschultes Servicepersonal. Leider hat für uns das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut nicht gestimmt, weil wir vor allem vom Essen enttäuscht waren. Es herrscht wenig Abwechslung, keine besonderen Gerichte oder echte Highlights und wenig ist wirklich selbstgemacht und frisch. Bei den Themenrestaurants hat uns nur eins wirklich überzeugt: das Ayeri. Alle anderen Restaurants werden keinem 5 Sterne Anspruch gerecht. An den Pools sowie am Strand fehlt Bedienung und das Hotel macht den Eindruck als sei es unterbesetzt bezüglich gut ausgebildeten Servicepersonal.

We have a fabulous 7-night stay in April 2026 to Ikaros Beach Luxury Resort and Spa. The staff at this Hotel all work incredibly hard to please the guests and provide the best service they can. Every one of them is friendly and chatty. Manos in the Olive restaurant deserves a special mention because he is very kind and attentive. The hotel is lucky to have him work for them. If you are thinking of going in April, be mindful of the weather. 3 out of 7 days you needed trousers & a jumper we even saw people in coats and hats! But the other 4 days were hot and you could sunbathe and go in the pool & sea (briefly). So bring enough clothes for all weather. If you are using the spa you will need to take your robes & slippers or flip-flops from your room. Towels in the spa are provided if you ask for them. We had a lovely massage in the couples' room. The spa staff are lovely 😊. The gym is very well equipped and a good size it’s open from 7am. No booking required. There is no hair conditioner in the bathroom and make sure you put your towels on the floor if you wish to have them changed. If you are fussy with tea bring your own. We were concerned with what the buffet food would be like but honestly, it was really lovely food. Show cooking in some parts and so much variety there is something for everyone. We were half board but if you are thinking of going all inclusive including drinks, and like fine wine don’t do it for the drinks, because the all inclusive wine is of very cheap quality. However It is drinkable. The hotel is already doing a good job in trying to be sustainable however a change they could make is by changing the little sugars & tea bags from plastic packaging to paper. Coasters in the room on the bedside table and hooks in the bedroom will be very useful. If you walk back out of the resort there are some very little food shops just on the road. We have just returned from this beautiful resort feeling rested and spoilt. First things first the resort. The website says it’s been designed around a Cretan Village and it certainly felt like that. It’s compact but feels very spacious and the design throughout is beautifully done. Artwork features around the resort and the gardens are beautifully done- well maintained but not overdone. It’s positioned really well so that you have sweeping views of the sea nestled beneath the mountains at the back. The accommodation is lovely - well maintained we were in a sea view bungalow and I would recommend that as you have a lovely bedroom, bathroom and little lounge area as well as a veranda to sit out on. Beds were super comfy and they were cleaned daily to a high standard. Thank you housekeeping! To be honest cleanliness was high across the resort. Never found a shabby area. Food - the main Olive Restaurant was lovely with a fantastic selection of food at breakfast lunch and dinner. Nice drink selection as well. The staff made you feel welcome from the moment you walked in and even in a busy area it felt like you were being looked after. Tables were cleared and cleaned promptly. The Ala Carte were very good. Sunset - best ribs I have had for a long time and the view stunning. Seafood was amazing and the Greek was excellent too. There are so many lovely places to sit and while away the day. Pool areas were lovely and the resort is so quiet and peaceful. There was evening entertainment if you wanted or you could sit in the lobby bar outside and relax. The really special thing about this resort is the service though and the people. Everyone said hello and by day 2 most knew what our drinks orders were and our room number! You shouldn’t have favourites but the lobby bar team were wonderful. Michaelis is especially good - professional but warm and friendly as well as makes a mean Negroni. His colleague (sorry forgot name) and him really made the bar special each evening. Thank you. Finally and by no means least the Spa and the team there. Beautifully done and the treatments were fabulous. Eftychia (Efi) runs a tight ship but very relaxed and all of the team are lovely. They are also very attentive and take real pride in their work. Dimitris noticed after our first treatment that it was not as expected and immediately booked us in for a repeat and on the back of that we booked 2 more. They all know their profession well. Thank you for looking after us so well. We old come back at the drop of a hat and are jealous of anyone on their way there this summer.

Pietums dažnai kartojosi tas pats maistas. Gėrimai neatitinka 5 žvaigždučių viskas įskaičiuota koncepcijos. A la carte restorane Ammos maistas buvo paruoštas iš anksto ir pašildytas, tas labai nuvylė....Buvo toks jausmas, kad personalas daro viską, kad kuo greičiau išeitume. Labai lėtas ir nevykęs aptarnavimas per pusryčius restorane Ayeri. Akivaizdu, kad trūksta personalo.
