Cuestas Beach Resort and Restaurant

Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk. Onze kamer (deluxe) was helemaal prima met een fijn balkon. Het zwembad was fijn maar het restaurant was helemaal top. We hebben er elke dag heel erg lekker gegeten. Ook hebben we er al onze excursies geboekt (watervallen tour en hike naar de Osmena en Casino Peak). Alles goed geregeld en bij terugkomst een lekkere lunch inbegrepen. En we hebben de canyoneering bij Kawasan geboekt. Vertrekken wanneer je wil (tip ga vroeg), en lekker met ons tweetjes.

Eigenlijk was alles goed. Enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken is dat de excursies met de auto erg duur waren, zeker in verhouding met bijvoorbeeld de prijs voor de accommodatie of het eten. Dat geldt niet voor de canyonering bij Kawasan, want die was qua prijs hetzelfde als alle andere aanbieders.

Food is good ( mixed options of local and international, good quality), nice resort. Nice garden and pool. Clean rooms. Quiet. Option to rent motorbikes, organise transfers and sardine watching. Close to main road so you can take bus to Moalboal easily.

Poor massage, relatively slow service in a restaurant and not really supportive - great people but do not help much. Checkout a bit bumpy ( need to wait for room check). Owner was a bit too open to share his opinions about other nations...

Venligt og smilende personale. God vejledning i forhold planlægning af udflugter (hval safari og vandfald mv. ) Meget god restaurant med varieret udbud af madretter til meget fornuftige priser. God morgenmad. Stedet kan klart anbefales.

Lekker zwembad en restaurant

Eten was wel erg zout (tonijnsteak) in het restaurant.

Exceptional stay at cuestas beach resort. The setting is so beautiful. The pool is large and clean. The rooms are really lovely with amazing views over the bay. The restaurant is very good. The owner is very involved and is an excellent host. Whilst the property is located outside of the main tourist area this wasn’t a problem to us at all. At the entrance to the property is a bus stop, one direction going south and to the Kasawan falls that are nearby and the other direction to Moalboal. It was really good experience getting the bus and chatting to the locals. It’s a bit too far to take a trike. I highly recommend this place and really wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we will get the chance to come back.

The staff and the facilities were fantastic. Top notch resort. Would stay there again for sure.

The only thing I would suggest is bigger sheets for the beds. Other then that such a wonder and peaceful place to stay.
