The resort is located in the banks of ashtamudi lake. It was so serene and beautiful rooms looking the lake. We enjoyed our stay here and the staff were so welcoming.

The property is beautiful, with a nice central garden and all room overlooking the lake. It has plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the lake view, and the mosquito situation wasn't bad for my standards (we went in April). We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the many birds flying on the trees. The room was very nicely sized, and clean. The wifi was very good and we were able to watch a show. We were able to pay by card. Overall the property was well maintained and staff was professional and helpful. We stayed at their restaurant for breakfast and dinner and their food was very good.

There's no way to walk around from the property to anywhere interesting, unless you accept that you'll be walking on not-so-nice streets. So if you plan to leave, you have to get a ride. There's no access to the lake from the property (assuming you'd want to dip your feet, which might not be something you want anyway..)

"It was unforgettable and was a beautiful gift to myself"

The reception and hospitality were exceptional. The scenic beauty is unparalleled, and the rates are reasonable, too. We only had breakfast from here, and that was sumptuous and tasty as well. I would definitely recommend this place to those I know, and I'm hoping to visit again.

I wish there were buckets and mugs in the wash area or at least a hand shower.

The wooden floors creak and transmit sound. Was impossible to stay in the ground floor rooms.
