Idyllic Concept Resort

Hotel bardzo ładny. Pokoje Deluxe garden Room przestronne, czyste oraz codziennie sprzątane. Personel miły i pomocny. Śniadanie bardzo smaczne z dość sporym wyborem. Hotel 4 gwiazdkowy i są to mocne 4 gwiazdki. Restauracja ok- ceny hotelowe. Bardzo fajna siłownia dostępna dla gości.

Niektóre części wspólne wymagają odświeżenia, ale są to drobnostki.

This is a very good modern hotel. Our room was down the bottom, close to the beach and all the facilities, so it was excellent for us (I might not have been so happy had my room been up the hill near Reception!). The sunbed/beach facilities were great - we always had a sunbed no matter what time of day. The staff service was fantastic. Breakfast was also excellent, as was the evening dining (we had dinner on Valentine's Day and the staff could not have been more attentive to make everything seem special). The location is also very good, being at the southern end of Sunrise Beach - loved the walk back along the beach (through the surf) at night time after an evening around the Walking Street!

Nothing - I suppose the accommodation was a little pricey for Thailand, but we felt it was good value for money.

Wir hatten uns sehr auf dieses Hotel gefreut und wollten uns damit auf unserer 3-monatigen Asienreise etwas gönnen. Leider war es ein kompletter Reinfall. Positiv: Zimmergrösse und -dekoration. Wirklich sehr schön. Zudem hat uns die Lage gefallen, man kann überall zu Fuss hin, ist aber dennoch in einer ruhigen Gegend. Zudem hat es an diesem Strandabschnitt nicht so viele Boote vordran. Das 3-stöckige Gym mit Blick ins Grüne hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen (ausser, dass niemand die Geräte reinigt nach Gebrauch).

Das Hotel ist maximal 3 Sterne Wert und sicher nicht den Preis, den es kostet. Wir hatten Premium Deluxe Garden-View gebucht und erhielten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf eine Hauswand und direkt neben der Abstellkammer des Putzpersonals. Dort war alles komplett voller Müll. Generell ist die Hotelumgebung sehr zugemüllt. Nach der ersten Nacht haben wir Zimmer gewechselt. Das zweite Zimmer war besser, aber die Zimmer sind alt (z.B. die Klimaanlage ist vergilbt und in die Decke montiert und rattert wie ein Generator der 80-er Jahre). Generell ist das Hotel nicht sauber, z.B. die Zierkissen im Zimmer waren voller Flecken. Wir haben zudem mehrere Leute im Hotel dabei beobachtet, wie sie sich eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen haben (sie haben im Poolbereich erbrochen - sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt) und haben selber eine Streifung erlitten. Am letzten Tag haben wir auf das Frühstück verzichtet... Das Personal war mit Abstand das Unfreundlichste in vier Wochen Thailand. Kein Lächeln, kein Sorry für die Zimmersituation, nichts. Schade, aber wir bereuten sehr, hier gebucht zu haben.

The hotel location is very good, right on the beach & only a 10 min walk to the "walking street". We were upgraded to a suite, the suite has a massive bath and shower and plenty of storage space. Rooms and the Restaurant was always very clean, with a broad range of choice for breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. The Gym in the hotel is excellent.

Sunbeds on the beach are very close together. Sunbeds were being rented to guests from the hotel next door, meaning that guests who were residents at the Idylic could not always get a sunbed on the beach. On the days we were there, 7 to 12 Sunbeds were rented out daily to non guests. We booked a pool view room, the plants had overgrown so much that the pool could be barely be seen. Fortunately we were upgraded.

Lovely location, clean accommodation, good facilities, lovely helpful staff. We stayed in cabanas just off the beach that were lovely, hotel restaurant and happy hour were brill

Room lacked full length mirror and vanity mirror other than the one in the bathroom which had poor lighting, lighting in general was poor. Not sufficient for bedtime reading or for make up/hair etc and lacked plug sockets. Breakfast overall good in hot selections but lacked fruit variety and Eurpoean styles such as cheeses and ham

The staff were amazing, they made us feel so special and truly made the experience incredible. Their attention to detail and wonderful, positive nature was such a joy to be around. Thank you so much!
