B&B Forest Hill Khao Yai

Wonderful garden bungalow with great pool and superb breakfast. Loved it.

It’s a beautiful well maintained property.

It is called a bed and breakfast but breakfast is not included which I didn’t notice when I booked because of the b&b name.

The location is wonderful. The breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful but remote place on the "wrong" (less popular) side of the national park. Be aware that in order to get anywhere (restaurant, ATM, town) you need your own transport! We could not find any guided tours for the national park in this region - they mostly go from Pak Chong. Hence, we had to organise our trip to the national park ourselves, which means we had no choice but to rent the owner's car for 1,500 THB / 24 hours. Initially we felt stuck, not being able to go anywhere ourselves, so we spent two full days on site. The garden and pool area are amazing. There is a small food / convenience shop nearby, but options and opening hours are limited. Very friendly people though! We opted for breakfast on site, which was very delicious but extra 250 THB per person.

Remote location, requires your own transport (we were not really aware of this and so felt a bit stuck there). Breakfast is very nice but expensive. We could rent the owner's car for a fixed price / 24 hours only, even though we explored the park for just one day (it closes at 6pm).

The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The swimming pool and veranda great. Very nice owner.

Not really a minus and also the flipside of the plus but the remote location at the less popular park entrance also means less restaurants available and a definite need for scooter or car. Both can be rented on site though.

A wonderful stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Johan and Kanya are brilliant hosts and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.
