Meena Resort

The family room was very well done, the beds were comfortable (if a bit firm) and the bathrooms were spotless. The owners were very helpful and nice, although English was limited. The breakfast was fine, with lots of fresh fruit, and omelets. There are bicycles to use, and the garden is very nice. It is a very relaxing place. The wifi was free and reliable. It is a great place to watch birds and see the tide go in and out...

Although it states otherwise, there is no food available except for breakfast. There is a restaurant a short walk away, which had very tasty food, especially if you like seafood. When you go, make sure you take mosquito repellent. The resort is a long way from anywhere, and we had no car, which proved to be a big problem. We also had teenagers, and this resort, while relaxing, with nice owners, was not a good fit for us at all. There is not much to do at all... We only stayed one night instead of the two we had booked. We also paid in advance, and there is no way to get a refund... (Doesn't actually bother me that much, but it is a bit annoying).

A truly relaxing and beautiful place directly on the water! Kindest and most welcoming and helful owners made my stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the room comfortable - I already look forward to returning soon again..

Peaceful location at the river. Friendly owners. Very clean rooms with a good bed, proper airconditioning and good pressure on the showers.

Nothing to dislike. The location is rather middle of nowhere, but that's the charm. Best having your own transportation.
