The view

We had a very disappointing experience at this resort. When we first arrived, our room had a very strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which made it almost unbearable to stay. On top of that, there were yellow stains on the bed sheets and the bathroom glass was not properly cleaned. We agreed to change rooms for one night so they could supposedly fix the issue. However, the new room was clearly of a lower standard — much older and less modern than the first one. There was no bad smell, but the shower head was not working properly, with water only partially flowing. Additionally, there was construction noise early in the morning, which made it difficult to rest. When we returned to our original room, the issue had not been fixed and the sewage smell was still present. Despite all these inconveniences, no compensation or commercial gesture was offered. We also used the laundry service (80 baht per kilo, which is more expensive than the average 50 baht on the island), and some of our clothes came back damaged: colors had changed and one t-shirt had a stain on it. The scooter rental was also overpriced (350 baht, while it’s around 200 baht just down the street). On a positive note, the view is nice and most of the staff were friendly. However, the manager (or the person we spoke to about our issues) was quite unfriendly and not helpful at all. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations and we would not recommend this place.

Morgens gab es einen Vogel an einem Baum in unserer Nähe der dauerhaft laut war und das Frühstück konnte abwechslungsreicher sein, aber es ist völlig okay.
