Lovely place right on the beach

Très bien situé direct sur la plage, nous avons vu une tortue et beaucoup de poissons à 10 -15 m du rivage. A l’opposé du coin animé, parfait pour les personnes qui cherchent le calme . On peut manger sur place , la nourriture est très bonne et à un prix raisonnable. Tout le personnel est très gentil

Chambre grande et plutôt confortable, avec grande salle de bain et petite terrasse devant.

Hôtel vieillot avec un environnement très dégradé, qui donne l’impression d’être laissé à l’abandon. Chambre difficile à rafraîchir malgré la climatisation, avec sensation d’étouffement pour dormir. Mauvaise insonorisation entre les chambres. Personnel accueillant mais qui donne l’impression de faire le minimum. Petit déjeuner vraiment pas très bon, malgré les fruits frais. La plage de Tanote où est situé l’hôtel est de plus malheureusement très abîmée par le tourisme et le peu d’entretien, pleine de déchets, même dans la mer. On voit de beaux poissons et quelques beaux coraux mais le spectacle est très triste en raison des fonds marins abîmés.

The beach bungalow is spartan. There's no storage space, neither in the bedroom nor the bathroom. Wastewater from the sink leaks under the bungalow. The bathroom was essentially a wet room. There were very few electrical outlets, and the steps leading up to the bungalow were all different heights! You can reach the reception/restaurant either via a beach littered with plastic, polyester, bottles, etc., which the hotel doesn't clean up, or via a steep slope with a few concrete steps—very dangerous! There are very few lights outside at night, which makes the way to the reception even more dangerous, and it's turned off around 10 p.m. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., but be warned: for those who need to go to the pier, the hotel offers a taxi at 8:30 a.m., so order fast and eat fast! You might not even have time to actually eat breakfast! Breakfast options are also limited: one juice, one coffee or tea, and one dish. Warning: You are not allowed to move any of the four sun loungers, which are in terrible condition, or you will be charged 200 baht. Getting from this hotel to any other part of the island is a major problem. Even the cheapest taxi costs between 500 and 600 baht. Something to consider when you're already paying 2900 baht per night for the room. If you want to rent a scooter, you'll have to leave it at the top of the mountain because the descent to the hotel is incredibly steep and the scooter won't be able to handle it. The value for money is a complete joke.
