Frontier River Resort

The greeting on arrival was great, with Dirk showing us around and explaining their procedures. The tent was spacious and clean with a patio in front of it and the grounds were neat and well kept. Lovely views over the Orange River. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals that Steph prepared.

The only thing that we missed was an aircooler or air conditioner, but there was a fan available.

Een hele leuke locatie aan de Oranjerivier, net voor de grens met Namibië, waar je helemaal tot rust komt. We verbleven in een luxe safari tent die helemaal is afgesloten tegen dieren en insecten. Het resort wordt gerund door een heel lief stel, die er alles aan doen om het naar je zin te maken. We hebben er ook heerlijk gegeten en ontbeten. Een echte aanrader dichtbij de grens

This was the perfect stop over prior to the border crossing. The family could not have made us feel more at home and gave us excellent advice.

The hosts and the atmosphere.

I enjoyed the personal touch from the hosts. They are lovely people and would stay again. Recommending it to everyone looking for a great home made style comfortable food. Absolutely delicious. Rooms was clean, neat and the beds are comfy. Shower to die for. Good water pressure . Will definitely revisit and stay a few days. Love love love it. Gorgeous views too !!

All was perfect

This place has been such a wonderful experience to stay at. Steph and Dirk are truly amazing hosts! Their warmth and personal touch made the stay feel so customised and special. They are the heart and soul of the place, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The dogs and all the other details made the experience even more unique. I can 100% recommend this place if you're in the area!

Hopefully one day the internet will reach the tents!
