Kalm Pai

Questo resort é un oasi di pace immersa nella natura. Quando siamo arrivati nel campo affianco c’erano le mucche che pascolavano, creando un atmosfera magica per chi è amante della natura. La camera spaziosa e ben organizzata. La hot spring ad uso privato fuori una vera chicca, soprattutto di sera quando le temperatura si abbassano molto. Se dovessimo mai tornare a Pai torneremo senza dubbio in questo posto del cuore. La posizione ottima ma considerando l’affitto di un mezzo, distanza 15 min dal centro di Pai e comodo anche per le altre destinazioni da visitare. C’è anche un taxi che si può chiamare dall’hotel eventualmente.

L’unico suggerimento che posso dare é di migliorare un po’ la colazione.

I loved the Kalm atmosphere, private space, and really nice lay out. It made for a relaxing place once there. breakfast was nice. It was perfect for a beer and to take in the view or talk.

location. It is out of town and drivers all know they can quote ridiculous prices to get to and from. It's a dangerous ride too. Its enough the locals clearly didn't want to go and road conditions were always a concern (a guy switched his motorbike plan to ask a buddy for a car after realizing where it was) not just a negotiating tactic so if your thinking just rent a scooter maybe not the best plan. Expect quotes of 300-500baht one way- you can negotiate to 150-200. Staff weren't much better in helping organize to get around the inflated costs. Limited English didn't help and staff were hard to find. No restaurants except a very overpriced one about 1km away and no stores nearby. I wouldn't have minded all of this if I'd I had known in advance. The relaxing atmosphere was ruined by the constant issue of transport. Its great if you never leave the place, but if you want to do things maybe not so good.

- the wooden path to the bungalow and the bungalow alone looked quite old and in some places not safe - really cold during the night (missing insulation) - no wardrobe in the room - we could hear people in a neighboring bungalow talking and also cars from the main road

very low quality of room, facilities, breakfast. We left after one night instead of the 2 we reserved.
