Il roof top dove si fa colazione, che è normale. Servizio di tè e caffè con bollitore elettrico. Bagno con box doccia, la prima volta in Sri Lanka. Il personale disponibile e cordiale.

La camera 106 ma in generale quelle al primo piano sono molto umide anche accedendo il condizionatore non siamo riusciti a togliere quel minimo di umidità per avere un confort normale. I vestiti nella valigia erano umidi, come le lenzuola e dormire all' umido non è piacevole. Infatti salendo i piani superiori per andare a fare colazione ti rendi conto che più si saliva di piano e più era secco.

Perfecte locatie, je loopt zo het centrum van Ella in! Maar hebt geen last van het bruisende centrum. En naast het hotel kun je de was laten doen, echt super. Ontbijt was ook heerlijk.

Good location, a short walk into town but away from the traffic noise (though you do hear music if it plays late at night). Staff was attentive and there was sufficient room for our clothes.

Bathroom plumbing leaked all over the sink and floor. There wasn’t enough room for our toiletries. And we had to run the water forever to get hot water, such a waste. We notified the staff so let’s hope they address it. Also, we had a bad experience at breakfast, with very slow service, menu items not available and poorly cooked eggs.

Location to town was great,rooms were nice and clean with a nice outside balcony. We liked both options of a quiet air conditioner unit and ceiling fan plus mosquito nets .

On Saturday night we had to endure the not so welcome duff duff sounds from a local bar until about 3 am. The bar seems to have taken the whole town hostage . A little bit difficult to find, GPS misdirected us. A sign on the street would have helped.

Food was very good

I chose this hotel very deliberately - away from the city, expecting peace and quiet. The property has high ratings, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the reality was the exact opposite. Almost every evening the hotel hosts very loud parties. On the first night, extremely loud music was playing from around 9:00 pm until 11:00 pm, making it impossible to fall asleep. The next day, when I asked the staff about it, they denied that the music came from the hotel and claimed it was “somewhere in the city”, even though it was clearly coming from their rooftop bar. On the third night, the situation became unacceptable. The music was playing until 1:30 am. I personally went to the restaurant and asked them to lower the volume, explaining that it was impossible to stay in the room. I was told to “give them one more hour”. The music continued for a long time, slightly quieter but still disturbing. After it finally stopped, guests were loudly walking around and talking, and the sound insulation in the rooms is extremely poor. Even at 2:00 am, the noise continued. At 6:00 am, music started again, this time somewhere on the hotel grounds, which completely ruined any chance of proper rest. If you are looking for peace, quiet, and good sleep, this is absolutely not the right place. The hotel is clearly more suitable for parties than for relaxation. What made it even worse was the lack of honesty from the staff and their complete disregard for guests’ comfort. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.
