Fantastische Häuschen mit tollem Blick und sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastfamilie. Alles sauber. Etwas abseits, aber mit dem Tuk Tuk kein Problem, man ist schnell in der Stadt die abends sehr voll und laut ist. Ich war froh, dass wir in unserem Häuschen unsere Ruhe hatten. Haben uns sicher gefühlt. Danke!

The family were super kind and helpful. We arrived super late and booked last minute, they stayed up late to welcome us. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked great (room next to ours did).

However the room does not look like the pictures at all and was so damp and moldy that our clothes, sheets, and bags were always wet. The room wasn’t the cleanest either. Perhaps there is another room on the property that matches the pictures better (there was a second “cabana” next to ours that looked slightly more modern). I would never want to leave negative review for no reason, especially a business run independently, but this was slightly concerning. The level of damp and mould made it very difficult to relax and stay in the room. At night it made sleeping really uncomfortable. I realise it is technically in the jungle but it’s unfair to expect people to willingly stay here and leave good reviews without any improvements. Please invest in air con or a dehumidifier for the room. Also please treat the walls for mould. A thicker blanket, and new bedding would be great, as it really does get cold in the room with the damp during the rainy season and the bedding provided was super old and slightly musty. We have stayed in a lot of other places in Sri Lanka for a similar price, and the standards were excellent, so I don’t think this is a price issue.

The location was epic and the views were just stunning. The rooms were large and clean with really high ceilings and plenty of space for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was clean also. The owners were really helpful in organising a tuk tuk for pick up and drop off along with a scooter for our time there! Would absolutely recommend was a delightful stay

It is a little far out of town however a tuk tuk service is provided for pick up. **just a note expect to pay between 600-1000 from tuk tuk drivers in the centre. It can be frustrating trying to organise so instead perhaps rent a scooter for the time you’re there!**

Comfy, spacious, serene and calm. If you don’t mind the 15’ to the center and that is a part of the experience for you, then you will love this place. The host is also super sweet!

The property is in the forest, some humidity is expected. The room can feel a bit musty but the host put a fan on the wall yo circulate the air and this makes it better. This was not a problem for us.

It was the best stay we had in Sri Lanka. Really good experience, surrounded by nature🌿, and the hosts were lovely 🥰

Nothing! We enjoy this stay so much. You need to take into account you need a tuk tuk to go to the city, but the owners help you with it.
