Sunville Hotel and Restaurant

The facilities were great! We loved the pool. Perfect for relaxing after traveling so much. The room was also very nice. Way better than what we expected from the pictures. I really enjoyed the hot shower. We also enjoyed the breakfast options in the restaurant. In terms of location it was very good. We rented an scoter and we were 7 minutes from Dumaluan beach and 10 from Alona beach. They also booked our tour for a very good price. We recommend it for sure.

The toilet of our room was very difficult to flush. You needed to press the bottom very long and very hard. It would have been nice to have an sponge and soup to wash the cups of the room after using them. Also some tea spoons would be a great addition!

It is a very nice modern hotel resort with all the amenities. Room is good quality with everything: comfy bed, good a/c, nice full shower bathroom w hot water, WiFi good, fridge, and the best softest cloth towels I’ve had in the PI. Pool is really nice. Gym. Table tennis. Massage available. Restaurant. Parking. Secure. Good value for Panglao.

It isn’t on or near a beach. In fact, it is inland and maybe a 5-10 min drive to nearest beach. Car or moto is pretty much required.

The rooms were tidy, and the food was also excellent. We stayed two nights, the staff was also very friendly and supportive.

It would be good if we had a kettle in the room.

The staff were extremely helpful, and always very courteous. The restaurant in the hotel served excellent food.

Nothing to complain about

Everything! Nice sized pool, great poolside restaurant, really good food, great coffee and faultlessly friendly and efficient staff. Quiet location a little easy from the hectic Alona beach area suited us but does require a scooter hire or Tuk Tuk ride to the beach which can be organised by reception. Prices can fluctuate so keep eyes open for a discounted price.

Nothing requires improving, it's a well run operation! :-)

They didn’t makeup the room. The WiFi is terrible the room was noisy all night from the road. Don’t pick room near road. Tv doesn’t work, they look at trying to fix it but they know it doesn’t work.

I had booked an accommodation that was deceiving, so switched over to Sunville, and I was very happy I did. The room was large, spacious, and VERY comfortable. The pool was delightful, WiFi worked very well, and it was nice to be able to watch movies on the tv before going to bed. The staff were all amazing and helpful, and were very sweet at greeting me by name every day.

To address concerns by others— a water cooler was provided in the hall for refilling water bottles. The property is farther away from conveniences, but the accommodation can easily arrange a scooter rental or transportation for wherever you’d like to go. The distance also makes the property quiet, which I greatly appreciated.
