The Nirvana Resort Munnar

The view and the staff were amazing. They have all the amenities that you could ask for. Would recommend everyone to choose this resort for a chill and relaxing time at Munnar.

We were served the tasty breakfast at our room itself which was very enjoyable with the beautiful view from the balcony. Morning tea was the best combination with that view of tea plantation valley. Akhil (our host) was the cherry on the cake to the service. Definitely recommended!!

Breakfast home made was good.Location was excellent.

Route to the location was not guided properly. We followed Google map direction which routes us from popponar to resort in a very steep and mud road.

“Nirvana” an amazing place to stay on the mountain with beautiful views of tea gardens around. One of the best places to stay close to Munnar. Well maintained rooms and tasty food. Staffs are amazing...! Special thanks to “Akhil” for the wonderful hospitality provided...! We recommend Nirvana to my family and friends…! Thank you for making these days so memorable…!

This resort is located in middle of tea plantations, which makes the view & stay really pleasant. Food, barbeque, campfire & the way resort is kept everything is really good. I would recommend this place to my friends and also would like to revisit the place in future.

This resort has only 2 bedrooms, main floor and first floor. As a family we booked both BR and were the only guests. It's more like to mini apartments each with 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 1 living room and 1 balcony. The view on the tea plantation is amazing and worth it. Beds are comfortable. Cute bedside light. Only one Bedside table. Wifi works very well. Food is served either in the garden (if weather permits) or in living rooms, There is no restaurant area. Our host Akhil was very friendly and helpful. He was able to find us a guide to hike in the mountains (not allowed to go without a guide). We spent a few nights there and Akhil is the only reason I don't rate this hotel with a 0.

This review will disappear because of negative feedback. I noticed that they removed negative feedbacks, therefore the rating above 9 is fake. When arriving at the location, first thing you see is overloaded trash cans and empty plastic bottles all around in the garden as well as dirty pieces of paper or trash. Bathrooms are filthy with fungus on the door, dirty shower curtains (when there is one), bad smell. There is hardly enough hot water to shower and definitely not enough water pressure to wash ladies' long hair. Living room carpet was not vacuumed during our stay. Overall, this place is extremely over priced for what it is. It was the most expensive place during our entire stay in Kerala and the worst.

The location has amazing views, homely food and the staff was very attentive. Very pleasant stay!
