The Mudhouse Marayoor

The location is just amazing, surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature. There is also lot of things to see around (waterfalls, viewpoints) and it is not far from Munnar so you can visit from there as well. The highlight was Deu (I hope I spelled her name correctly) who was taking care of us during our stay and it made us feel like a home. The food was also delicious!

They could have a mosquito net over the bed. I woke up eaten by them even though we did not leave the doors to the room open.

Extremely warm and friendly hosts, very helpful in figuring out what all fun activities to do and also delicious food for every meal. Spent 3 great days enjoying the beautiful area around Marayoor and this amazing property. Wouldn't stay anywhere else except here on my next trip to Marayoor.

Gorgeous mountain view, highly attentive and friendly staff, beautiful architecture and landscaping/gardens.

TBH nothing really.

Really different experience. Very clean and well maintained property far from the hustle of the cities and near the forest. The manager Ambily was very helpful and the staff was the most courteous I have ever seen. There is a river hike that you should definitely not miss. The food was also amazingly authentic and prepared in the most hygienic way.

The total price should have included lunch and dinner charges as well, since there is nowhere near to have these meals. The only option is to pay at the stay and have it.

The location is incredible, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes. The mudhouses and treehouse are so well designed. The food and staff are also great.
