Sao Mai Beach Resort

location in peaceful locations from from city and right next to the beach. facilities, beach, swimming pools, restaurant that has a large range of different foods. wifi and cleanliness of resort.

plastic on beach, should be cleaned done daily. Smoking in the restaurant 🤬 it is 2023 why is this still allowed? noticed it at dinner times and mostly men smoking. a couple of homeless dogs roaming the resort, even it harmless

The staff at Sao Mai are brilliant, the manager Vu was particularly friendly and very helpful. The pool is huge and has a great view. The rooms are spacious and great value for money. It's 10 minutes outside the city but taxis are easy to get. There was a lot of families staying at the resort when we stayed there.

I have spent three beautiful days at this resort. The rooms and bathroom are quite large, so very clean, very high standard and accommodation was great. Breakfast daily was delicious with big selections. Large beautiful swimming pool but i have spent more time on the white sandy beach, the resort has a long private beach and all staffs were attentive. Best time to visit Summer time. I would recommend this resort to my friends and all of you. I will be back this resort in next time.

We spent 5 wonderful days at the Sao Mai in July 2020 and highly recommend this hidden gem. The hotel seats on a pristine private beach at the northern end of Tuy Hoa, just a short drive away from the city center. Da Dia and Bai Xep are close by as well. Our one-bedroom villa was spacious, beautifully fitted with custom-made furniture and boasted an exceptionally large bathroom. Mattress, pillows and linen were extremely comfortable (the kind found at the Mandarin-Oriental, Ritz-Carlton and the like). The only restaurant of the hotel lacks character but offers a wide array of authentic Vietnamese fares and some western. The extensive breakfast buffet was outstanding. There is also a convivial beach bar for cocktails and a limited food menu (loved the spaghettis). The seawater pool is huge and well-kept but we preferred enjoying the fine sand and shallow water of the beach. A motorboat can be hired for a picnic on the nearby island. But the biggest asset of the hotel lies with its friendly and unpretending staff who provided an excellent service while making us feel at home. We are particularly grateful to the owner of the resort for all his kindness.

I stayed at Sao Mai offseason and was absolutely wonderful. Even though the staff didn’t speak much English they were very helpful and friendly, they even arranged special vegetarian food for me. Had a lovely stay and enjoyed the empty beach.

Completely new and fresh properties, yet the service and staff are amazingly nice, always smile and trying their best. The villa has an interesting design, a spacious bath room with huge bath tub and an outdoor shower. Plenty of sitting area in the veranda facing the ocean. Spotless clean inside the room and outside the public area We stayed 2 nights and had dinner one night at the restaurant. Authentique Vietnamese cuisine, not too much “fusion” which is good 😊 Highly recommendable and will come back ourself next time we visit Tuy Hoa👍

It’s a nice beach front resort, very huge and beautiful landscapes, the villa is spacous, well equipment, clean with nice ocean view. The beach is clean, beautiful sunset Breakfast buffet with various choice of local, western ans asian food Highly recommended for family stay, couple, or solo adventurer
