Spacious 2 bedroom cottage, separate from everything else so it’s peaceful

Different from the one bed cottage I stayed before, there is no bathtub to relax in, nice space but less design feeling. A few lamps without bulbs so couldn’t turn them on. The powder room door can’t be locked. Will be better to offer hot breakfast.

This location and particularly the Pegasus cottage was so secluded and isolated and gave us a true 'countryside' experience. There was a heard of cows that would come right up to our balcony to graze. The view from the living room and both of the bedrooms were amazing. The cottage had all the required amenities - would have been good to have a toothbrush and toothpaste supplied too but thats just me nitpicking! All the rooms, bathrooms and living area were spotless. Enjoyed the continental breakfast and walking around the estate and visiting the book barn. It was also a 10min drive to the town. Also just to note, I left two rings inside our bedroom drawer and forgot to take it out and only remembered after we reached home :( The on-duty manager was quick to escalate this and was able to check and find the rings and they have offered to post it out to me. Thats just 10/10 service. Thank you guys so much by making my birthday weekend away so special.

Not the estate's fault but we did have a Jehovah's Witness call on us when we were home lol. Would have been good to have full breakfast available with eggs and bacon etc and also if the breakfast hours were extended by 30min or so.

Spotless. had everything needed for a one night, relax and read or stay for a while trip.

It was a little confusing getting in. There was a small Pegasus plaque low down at the start of the driveway. then as you drove in there was a large sign saying something else (I can’t remember what)…but not Pegasus, so then we weren’t sure we were in the right place.
