For us as - this was a fantastic 5 star resort that we could not fault. The beachside location was stunningly beautiful - a real tropical location - great sun-loungers positioned between the palm trees (well maintained), great sea swimming, fresh water pools, eating options, gym and leisure facilities- the accommodation was immaculately clean and the staff exceptional .. Chris team lead (thank you for the map and your great welcome) , Chloe and Cindy in “The Kitchen”, Andrew, Annuno, Ashvina, in “The Beach” and Pavish on the beach …. you gave us 5star treatment along with many other staff members who we met along the way. Our meal in the “East” restaurant (Thai) was particularly outstanding but we enjoyed all the other locations too - the quality of service that all staff delivered was outstanding - something rarely practiced but a delight to experience these days … thank you one and all. The ground maintenance staff and room cleaning staff worked tirelessly and did a fantastic job keeping the whole facility really well presented. There are plenty of options for activities on site available .. snorkelling yoga kayaks paddle boards trips out and about - we chose to hire a car as we enjoy hiking and exploring - there are plenty of options for walking in the local area (suitable for trail shoes or sturdy trainers). Some routes are not very well signposted so it’s worth doing your own homework and having clear directions available eg All Trails App, other walking route guides or detailed map. We were there In May - the days were a comfortable temperature .. not too hot (25- 28) .. often with varying degrees of broken cloud cover and occasional rain showers.

Wenn ich heute an Mauritius denke, kommt mir sofort das LUX* Le Morne in den Sinn. Mein Partner und ich verbrachten dort eine ganze Woche, und bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns warm ums Herz. Die Begrüssung durch das Team war unglaublich herzlich, liebevoll und authentisch wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohl. Das Hotel liegt an einem der schönsten Strände, die man sich für Mauritius vorstellen kann. Genau dieses Bild, das man aus Reisekatalogen kennt: türkisblaues Wasser, Palmen, weisser Sandstrand und eine traumhafte Kulisse. Einfach wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Unser Zimmer war sehr grosszügig gestaltet und bot genügend Platz für alles. Man konnte sich sofort entspannen und ankommen. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, das heisst Frühstück und Abendessen waren inklusive, Getränke jedoch nicht. Zusätzlich verfügt das Hotel über mehrere weitere Restaurants, in denen man am Abend ebenfalls essen konnte. Dort erhielt man als Hotelgast einen Rabatt von 30 %, was wir grundsätzlich in Ordnung fanden. Persönlich fänden wir es jedoch noch schöner, wenn Gäste im Rahmen der Halbpension flexibler alle Restaurants nutzen könnten. Das Buffetrestaurant war wirklich sehr fein. Besonders toll fanden wir die abwechslungsreichen Themenabende – jeden Abend gab es eine andere kulinarische Richtung. Mein persönliches Highlight war definitiv der indische Abend. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns beim gesamten Personal. Wirklich jede einzelne Person war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Egal ob Techniker, Kellner, Housekeeping oder Empfang man wurde überall mit einem Lächeln begrüsst und fühlte sich fast wie zuhause. Genau dieses herzliche Gefühl macht den Unterschied und bleibt einem lange in Erinnerung. Ich würde diese Hotelanlage wirklich jedem empfehlen, der das echte Paradies-Feeling auf Mauritius erleben möchte.

Купатись в океані не дуже зручно, по перше мілко, по друге корали, багато їжаків, більше підходить для любителей снорклінгу. В номері було дуже шумно, так як поряд проїжджа частина і круглодобово їздить транспорт, що заважало вночі спати. Потрібно зробити фумігацію, так як в номері багато геконів і попадались павуки. Просили зробити пізній виїзд, довго вирішували з цим питанням і відмовили.
