Great location and great atmosphere.

When there was a cancellation of scheduled events and replacements were arranged as a kind gesture by the staff, internal communications within their team led to us having to pay for stuff we did not agree on. And since we had paid the initial excursion in advance, a full refund was hard to arrange. Ultimately any communication with the owner and/or staff had been made impossible and we feel like our money has been taken for things we did not agree to. It is very sad to see that the salaries of the staff get reduced when the owner makes communication errors herself towards the team. We hope these issues are handled better in the future, and the staff is treated fairly.

I liked that we had beachfront rooms and were comfortable considering we booked very basic rooms. The place is quiet and very relaxing and safe: The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We really had an enjoyable stay. Also the food is really good and lot better than what you would get in the restaurants in the town center.

No major issue except that no aircondition in my room but it’s beach facing anyway so there’s breeze…

Holiday feeling. directly on the beach in a coconut and other trees forest. reachable by boat or with a motorbike along the vulcanic black sand beach (because it is many km long you will be probably alone). The resataurant offer nice food and cool drinks. Tourguide for jungel and waterfall trips or diving/snorkeling available. Whe again in this area ...that is the place to go
