Sigiri Mango Garden Eco Resort

The room is comfortable and clean. The host is genuine and professional, and very much caring of our needs. He serves nice food.

We only stayed for one night as a last minute booking due to a change of plans. It was really good value for money and walking distance to restaurants in Sigiriya. The owner organised our transfers for us which was really helpful and appreciated. The family seem to be very nice genuine people. The A/C worked well. The main issues we had was there were lots of insects in our room on arrival including mosquitos. We know this is common in SL but it was more than any other place. The WiFi did not work for us at all so we had to rely on poor mobile data. There was no hot water in the shower. Altogether these were things to improve but for the price it was worth it for one night.

Ruwan was an exceptional host! He helped plan our stay and onward journey. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Very good value for money. Thank you Ruwan and I hope your baby arrived safely!

Everything, the owner Ruwan is very kind and he had a lovely family. The room was super, clean! Thank you very much for your hospitality

It was beautifully situated in a part of Sigiriya surrounded by forest. All we could hear were animals, and Ruwan and his family who run it were lovely and wonderfully helpful! I would definitely recommend a stay here!

The property is within jungle amongst trees and green all across

The property was not upto the mark at all. The airconditioner had water leakage issue. There were huge no.of mosquitoes inside the room. The approach road to property was not good. The host was missing when we reached and room was not kept ready in all respects. There was no fridge, no TV. Its not the resort but just 2 guest rooms amongst the jungle wherein host's home is also there. It's just a Home Stay which was claimed by Host as Resort. Could see just 2 mango trees and therefore, it's cheating and fraud with customers terming it as Mango Garden Eco Resort, completely misleading info. The breakfast served was completely cold and not hot at all with very little coffee The per night rate quoted by property as 22.80 USD is not worth at all. The rate should be much lower.
