The location was stunning! Beach front and amazing to watch the sunset. Also close to main San Juan area but very peaceful and close to Tubog beach which was our favourite in Siquijor. The staff were super helpful. We planned to stay for 3 nights and ended up extending to 5 which was not an issue!

Our room did not have air conditioning (which we knew when we booked) so it was a bit warm at night and when windows were left open mosquitos got in. The staff were also helpful and provided mosquito repelling candles etc.

Property is directly near the beach. Sad our stay was only quick I would have dipped at the beach as there were also boulders that would’ve been picture worthy. You can enjoy sunrise and sunset there as they have lounge chairs outside. They also have dogs and cats that are well taken care of and are friendly which shows the owner is good also to animals. Bathroom is clean and spacious. Beds were also neat. Service was good. It was raining when we checked out and the lady staff there offered to assist us with umbrellas to get to our service car. Even though we got a fan room, it was breezy and cold like we were on AC as the place can get chill at night. Good thing they have mosquito screens so we can open our jailousie windows a bit at night to let the night breeze in. I love that they have given us proper blankets as usually for other accommodation they offer only teeny tiny blankets hahah. They also have a gallon of water prepped for us yeeey

May be a little outdated in terms of interior but still serves us well. Working station/ dining chairs is too bulky. Some lights are faulty, electric wires have to be taken care of also as some of it is not well wrapped with electrical tape and zapped us a bit.

This was such a lovely getaway on Siquijor. It’s about a 20 minute tricycle from siquijor port (350 pesos) or 35 minute tricycle from Larena port (700 pesos). It’s about a 20 minute walk onto San Juan main part, but there are lots of eateries around the accommodation. We had the sea view room and it was so lovely to wake up the sound of the sea. Great sunsets from there too. The staff were so incredibly kind and did all they could to help with anything, and can help with arranging tuk tuks as well (we had a tuktuk driver who took us to nearby waterfalls and came to collect us 2 hours later). It was very quiet in the accommodation, but this will depend on the other guests too. A couple of drawbacks: the WiFi in the room wasn’t great, but we didn’t need it for work and we didn’t try it in the main area as it wasn’t that important to us. The toilet wouldn’t refill to flush; they fixed it once but after that we just refilled the cistern ourselves with the bidet next to the toilet. The shower also didn’t have the best flow. However we would absolutely stay here again despite these things as they are just little issues.

No bunk beds.

Noisy because of a large amount of roosters screaming non-stop, no hot water in the shower at all, no air conditioning, there are individual power points in the room to charge phones and also in inaccessible places. The toilets and showers are on another floor.

acommodation was clean and friendly, stuff sre very, very helpful and nice people! for sure is the best hostel at Siquijor
