Old Pine Husky Lodge

The peacefulness and staff were both an important part of the trip for us

The shower in the cabin we had was very small and I didn’t fit so had to shower with the doors open.

I really liked it, nice friendly staff, delicious breakfast, very warm bedrooms, soft beds. also the ride with Huskies is very cool.

one small inconvenience is that later in the evening you have to think about what you will eat for snacks for late dinner (the store is far away) or you can only have something that is filled with hot water, because there is a kettle, but only that much - there is no more than a kitchenette or dishes, but there is a refrigerator.

Magical place with cozy and friendly vibes. New and clean cabin. Good breakfast and friendly staff :) The husky are super cute too.

Great location, great for auroras. Nice setting. The houses look cute. We also liked the husky tour, even though the husky ride wasn’t possible at the time we were there, the tour and meeting so many huskies was nice and fun.

This lodge is quite basic and for the price of a room, I would expect more. 160 euros for a B&B with shared toilets was a bit much… Do not expect any luxury. I felt like it was too expensive for what it offers and value for money was my only problem.

The people (and doggos) made this place. Its not luxury, but that added to the rustic charm.

We liked everything.

Everything, really nice place with frendly people. We even got a normal coffe in the morning (espresso and capucino). You can make an reservation for a Husky dogsledding safari in advance and I really recomend it because it's awesome. They have pizzeria that's usually opened just for weekend but they were so nice they prepared pizza for our dinner.

Nothing. They have dogs there so in the morning you can hear howling which I anticipated and loved.

It is a true winter wonderland. The location is amazing.
