Loved the rooms, the pool, location, and everything else. More importantly, the service was great, especially Fred. Big thank you for helping with everything. i needed assistance.. very highly recommended it.

It's just a tiny thing ... there is a lot of training happening from outside user's non hotel guests. Swimming lessons and diving lessons. The swimming pool is stunning but not very big, so it was hard to use the pool while training was happening. Sad really as it was going on for hours sometimes. But other than that, everything else was perfect.

- Great location, just 5min outside of General Luna's intense and crowded part - Well maintained plants and look - Staff are very friendly and helpful - Comfortable room, relatively quiet besides the one neighbor you might have above or below you

- The shower in our room had a big area that wasn't draining so the water there always became stinky, even going in the bedroom - Breakfast options are quite limited, there are however amazing options nearby but it is sad that their breakfasts are not better when they have one of the best pizzas I ever ate - We had frequent power outtages that made he AC stop and threw off the WiFi constantly. We weren't seeing those power outtages in all resorts, for example some had batteries and solar panels to not rely on the island's flaquy power. - The WiFi in general wasn't stable at all in the rooms, besides the power shortages. The restaurant's WiFi was always working unlike our in-room WiFi so I am unsure why it is so cumbersome - The room couldn't be darkened very well for sleep, the blinds didn't cover all the windos which made it hard to have a good sleep - They have a power generator right next to the restaurant and villa's in front which was quite loud when we ate there and it turned on... - The pathways to the rooms is made of medium sized stones instead of small stones or sand like other resorts, we found it a bit annoying especially when you are in slippers

Gab and Abby the owners were extremely welcoming and nothing was a hassle, wonderful family. The staff were polite, respectful, welcoming is an understatement as they helped out in many ways. The pool is a stones throw from my balcony and was beautiful to swim in. Breakfast is provided complimentary and was always delicious. Highly recommend staying at Bulan.

Lovely place, lovely staff. Had the honour to meet and chat to the owner. They are doing a good job, good food, generally good vibes.

We stayed here for a 7 days. The rooms were comfortable. The location was great. It felt central to everything. (We hired a scooter and scootered everywhere. But if you wanted a tuk tuk. They always seemed to be parked up near by.) There were a few power cuts. But it wasn’t long between power cuts and the generator starting. So power cuts weren’t an issue. The rooms were service everyday and to a high standard. It was always so nice to come back to a clean room again. My wife got sick, and the staff were really very helpful. Also able to provide special requests meals from the kitchen when she only felt like eating certain meals. The restaurant food was excellent. We mostly got pizzas but they were delicious! One little surprise was the Fries. They were so good. Nice and crispy and flavourful. We enjoyed our stay and food here. Would definitely come back one day.

The pool is beautiful - quite secluded and a lovely place to relax. The pizza is excellent too.

Breakfast is limited to 1 drink and 1 meal - which means no juice and coffee unless you pay for one.
