Le Cameleon Hotel

Muito bem localizado, na frente de uma praia linda e ótima para banho. O restaurante e as instalações na praia são deliciosos (várias cabanas e cadeiras para aproveitar a praia) e funcionários muito atenciosos.

A água quente do quarto acabou durante nossos quatro dias de hospedagem, o que nos obrigou a tomar banho morno para frio. Chamamos um funcionário do hotel para nos ajudar e nos falaram que era assim mesmo, o que foi bem frustrante e que acabou nos causando um resfriado. Apesar do restaurante ser excelente, achamos que o café da manhã poderia ter mais opções. Todos os dias foram oferecidos os mesmos itens e sentimos falta de uma maior variedade de pães, uma torradeira para os pães e reposições mais frequentes.

I made a great choice when I booked several nights with a bunch of friends at Le Cameleon Boutique Hotel and everyone including me loved it. Accommodations are surrounded by greenery with lovely gardens. The rooms are simple with comfortable beds, all amenities and I loved the balcony. There's 3 swimming pools and their beachfront club Gigi’s with restaurant and bar close enough to feel the ocean breeze and see the waves as you look across the big lawn with lots of Lounge areas for sun or shade. I’m happy with the massage I booked in the beautiful spa area. Also there’s a wonderful gym and breakfast was included. The restaurant offers variety and food was delicious. The staff was great with everything and made us feel welcome. So many activities accessible in Puerto Viejo and so relaxing, plus short walk to nice market and different places to eat. We all want to return! Note: Request ground level room to avoid stairs to second level if needed.

El aseo de los baños , el cierre del baño y de la habitación estaba en pésimas condiciones, ya no es el hotel que era antes, además el jacuzzi siempre tuvo agua caliente y el de la recepción cuando le pedí que lo encendiera me dijo que solo agua fría y yo 😒 me acuerdo que no era así

Another great stay! We saw monkeys, sloths, toucans all on the resort! The beaches were uncrowded and beautiful. The staff at Le Cameleon Hotel is outstanding, paying attention to all my special requests!(thanks for the extra coffee!) The view from our deck was great for watching(and hearing) wildlife!

Hauptprobleme: • Zimmer Nr. 56: Fernseher defekt, Haartrockner defekt. Wir wurden gezwungen, spät abends das Zimmer zu wechseln. • Zimmer Nr. 54 (Ersatzzimmer): Fernseher defekt, Kaffeemaschine defekt, Kühlschrank defekt (Eis schmolz, nasser Boden) sowie massive Probleme mit der Sanitäranlage, die bis zu 3 Stunden benötigte, um Abwasser zu entsorgen, was eine hygienisch unzumutbare Situation darstellte. • Der Hoteltechniker bestätigte den Mangel an Ersatzteilen sowie verzögerte Reparaturen aufgrund fehlender Wartung. • Im Preis enthaltene Yoga-Kurse wurden nicht erbracht, obwohl diese ausdrücklich als Bestandteil der Buchung beworben wurden. – Bei Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, es gebe erst am Freitag, den 19. Dezember, freie Plätze. – Wir erschienen pünktlich; die Yogalehrerin erschien jedoch überhaupt nicht. – Die Rezeption behauptete später wahrheitswidrig, die Lehrerin sei verspätet gekommen und wir seien nicht anwesend gewesen. – Es wurde bestätigt, dass die Lehrerin weder an der Rezeption nachgefragt noch versucht hat, uns zu kontaktieren. • Die Qualität des Restaurantessens war sehr schlecht und extrem überteuert. Wir aßen dort nur zweimal. • Das Frühstück war akzeptabel, jedoch weit unter dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. • Das Hotel hat sich im Vergleich zu früheren Aufenthalten vor 2–3 Jahren erheblich verschlechtert: beschädigte Zimmertüren, defekte Waschbecken, allgemein mangelhafte Instandhaltung. → In seinem aktuellen Zustand erfüllt das Hotel nicht die Kriterien eines 4-Sterne-Hotels, obwohl es auf Booking.com so angeboten wird. • Trotz täglicher Beschwerden wurde keine Lösung angeboten; stattdessen verwies das Personal darauf, erst einen Tag vor der Abreise mit der Verwaltung zu sprechen, obwohl bereits Ausflüge gebucht waren. • Ungerechtfertigte Preisdifferenz: Am 17. Dezember bot das Hotel Zimmer für USD 160 pro Nacht an, während uns USD 212 pro Nacht berechnet wurden – ohne sachliche Rechtfertigung und trotz der oben genannten Mängel.
