Grande Bay Resort and Spa Mamallapuram

The property had a very big pool with the beach very nearby with a private entrance and lots of indoor games with a volleyball court and table tennis. The breakfast buffet and the high tea was good. Buggy service to the beach.

The rooms are a bit outdated.

Travelled with my kid. When she wanted to chill out in the swimming pool, normal dresses were not allowed for swimming which we were unaware in ad vance. Suggest you inform your Bookings in advance or can provide such suits according to size for sale.

Breakfast was good and the staff at the restaurant were great.

Rooms they offered was expensive, it could have been maintained well. No direct beach access, They said the lawn was reserved for private party on that day. Even to reach there we have to take shuttle to reach and totally disappointed with that. Photos were misleading. Room flooring was not neat, kind of outdated and it was torn, but the staff was able to assist providing the alternate room.. Pool had lot of bugs and kids scared to enter the pool, so we need to ask the staff clean them but they could not clean it completely.
