The room was amazing, friendly service, the beach and surroundings are stunning

Only one family pool that is rather small. To access the family pool or beach you need to walk a long stretch or get a golf cart ride.

Golf course was just ok

It’s in the middle of a beautiful forest and right next to the beach which is white sand. The hotel design is marvelous, the rooms are spacious ; the beach bar and cocktails are great. Enough space for everyone, so it doesn’t feel crowded. The beds and pillows are conformance and very soft. The breakfast had a huge variety for everyone

The dinners are hits and miss type of thing. I would expect gourmet cuisine, but was not impressed. I liked the seas bass at Coucine de Mercado. I would definitely skip the Mexican cuisine night. The personnel doesn’t seem to be maturely friendly ( as opposed to all other places we’ve been so far in Costa Rica ), but it is more liked learned phrases and imposed on them. The prices for the meals are very expensive for that quality

The service is excellent, the resort is clean and well kept. The decor is a bit dated, but in good condition. They clean the rooms and organize your stuff so well and we left money and computer and it felt very safe all around.

The FOOD situation is pretty bad, especially in the main lobby restaurant. Apps are around $26-28 mains are around $40 and this would all be fine if it was tasty fun food but we are talking flavorless pizza, watery caesar salad, overcooked fish etc... Really terrible food, so if you are staying a week or so like us by day three you are annoyed by this.

Beautiful property. The rooms were amazing and the pools and common areas were Beautiful. The staff was superb. Everyone did their best to make sure you had a wonderful stay. Great breakfast as well.
