The property is beautiful and secluded which gives you privacy.

Limited food options, rates too high for the food served which was just okay in taste. They have a mini fridge in the room but it was empty, i would seriously recommend they start putting some snacks in the room as the last order for dinner ends at 9:30 pm so hunger pangs at 11 pm has no solution.

Satya is a perfect slice of heaven. The individual pool bungalows are beautifully decorated and provide privacy, they are also spotlessly clean with good air con and the outside bathroom is fabulous. Satya is on the south east coast and 20 minutes away from the busier areas of the island but if you are looking to completely switch off and be immersed in nature, Satya is the place. Autos are inexpensive and the team will order one for you. We walked through the jungle to the secret beach (about 15 minutes and an easy hike with a couple of ups and downs) and had the beach to ourselves which was magical. The restaurant serves a good mixture of Indian, Chinese and western food all of which is very good, however, it is above the average cost of other restaurants on the island. Finally, Rosie and her team are so kind and helpful and will do everything to ensure you enjoy your time at Satya. Special mention for the lovely Omega who is a real diamond 🙂

Amazing location in the jungle far away from everything else with access to a quiet beach. Very friendly staff catering to our needs. They were able to make vegan food.

The private pool isn't fully out of sight for other guests/staff which was not clear from the pictures.

Our stay at Satya Villa was truly exceptional. The villa is stunning, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. From the very beginning, the entire team demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism and care. Communication was flawless — every request or question was answered immediately and thoughtfully. We strongly recommend arranging transportation (car or tuk-tuk) through the Satya team. It is faster, more reliable, and more cost-effective. Thanks to their guidance, we avoided being overcharged for a taxi from Port Blair airport to the port, as they shared the correct local pricing in advance. Delivering such a high standard of service on a remote tropical island with complex logistics is truly remarkable. Secret Beach is wonderfully secluded and ideal for guests seeking privacy and tranquility. Reaching it involves a scenic and adventurous jungle walk of approximately 20 minutes. Kalapathar Beach can also be reached via a longer jungle walk — around two hours if you take your time to explore, take photos, and fully enjoy the surroundings. While the island itself still faces challenges with waste management and stray dogs (which are friendly), the Satya Villa complex is peaceful, clean, and very well secured. The property is fenced, and as two women traveling together, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. The villa is equipped with efficient air conditioning and a ceiling fan, both working perfectly. The private pool is a highlight — ideal for swimming, relaxing, and unwinding in complete privacy. The food menu is excellent, offering healthy and delicious options. My daughter and I both felt noticeably lighter, more toned, and rejuvenated — a wonderful combination of thoughtful cuisine and high-quality massages. The team’s local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable.
