Sehr schöne, einfache, relaxte Bungalow Anlage an einem sehr schönen Strandabschnitt. Easy Going, im Stil der vergangenen Jahre. Wer das liebt, ist hier richtig. Wer Komfort sucht sollte nicht auf die Insel reisen.

Mamas was just what I had been looking for to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal civilization. It's excellent if you just want to live a simple way of life for a while in relative isolation. The owner, Soi, is a lovely lady and an excellent host. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Just fantastic, I'll be going back for sure.

There isn't anything I can say I didn't like.

Paikka on kaunis ja yksinkertainen, mutta sisältää kaiken tarvittavan. Ruoka on herkullista ja suhteutettuna siihen, että ollaan saarella ok hintaista. Vesipullon voi täyttää eikä tarvitse ostaa uutta, mikä on mahtavaa. Äiti ja tytär jotka pyörittävät paikkaa ovat ihastuttavia, kuten muukin henkilökunta. Hotellin koira on mitä suloisin, ja jopa johdatti meidät viereisen vuoren näköalapaikalle. Täällä voi nähdä sarvinokkalintuja, apinoita, hylkeitä (?) ja monia monia muita eläimiä. Rantaan tulee välillä upeita aaltoja missä on aikuisen mahtavaa temmeltää.

Meille tämä oli täydellinen, mutta jos sinulla on lapsia tai vähääkään vaikeuksia liikkua ei paikka ole ihanteellinen. Hotelliin täytyy kävellä jyrkähkö mäki ja rantaan osuu usein isot aallot. Paikka on myös todella eristyksissä. Tarvitset skootterin jos haluat käydä muualla vaikka syömässä. Me kävelimme välin pari kertaa, mutta ei se kovin mukavaa ollut kuumuudessa metsässä. Ravintola sulkeutuu melko aikaisin, suhteessa siihen, että muita vaihtoehtoja syömiseen ei ole. Meillä ei ollut merinäköalaa vaikka niin luki varatessa, se ei tosin juurikaan haitannut. Puutarha on upea ja ravintolassa on hieno näkymä kaikille.

Mama Soi is een fantastische gastvrouw! Het eten is geweldig en de drankjes zijn koud. De perfecte plek om even helemaal te resetten.

Mamas had an extensive menu of both Western and Thai food. Everything is freshly made! You have a log book for your room that you order food/drinks, where you can settle up the bill for your tab once you check out. WiFi is incredibly patchy, but works best in the restaurant. We found that phone signal is pretty much nonexistent but we liked being able to switch off and immerse ourselves in nothingness. Things are run off solar here, so be mindful of electricity sometimes cutting out. We had no issues with this, however. The family are SUPER friendly here- very warm and accommodating. Poppy the doggo will look her cutest at you for some food but resist the urge! Haha.

Obviously, water pressure isn't the greatest but it does a job. Embrace the rustic-ness! When you get off the motorbike, walk down to Mama's via the beach, and not the sign that leads you into the trees.

Perfect location, just in front of a private beach. All the bungalows with great views. Very peaceful

If you choose a basic bungalow is a basic bungalow. Maybe it’s better going with some options on middle price.
