All of the staff are so friendly, warm and helpful, we really enjoyed being around them, really nice people. They arranged two morning Safaris for us with Mr Jabir and helped get us into the best zones, I don't think we would have got those zones without them. The second Safari we did, we saw several Tigers which is very rare, we really appreciated their help in achieving this. They also arranged a driver for us to Jaipur, they were so helpful. The room was very large, tastefully decorated and very clean and all the communal areas were nicely decorated and clean as well. The garden area was nicely planted and was very calm and relaxing, really nice just to sit and relax, just what we needed after traveling around India. The food was really nice with many dishes on the menu, most of all, they catered for my Vegan diet, explaining what was Vegan and what wasn't but also cooking dishes in oil and not Ghee so that I could have them, which I appreciated so much, thank you. One of the nights, they had traditional musicians perform in the garden and lit fires, which we really liked and was very enjoyable. All in all, we had a lovely time at Raj Bagh and if we ever return to Ranthambore, then we would just book with them again. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay such a memorable one. Having to leave.

The Rajbagh is located near the Ranthambore fort. The drive to the place is quite beautiful, a little away from the bustling market places which we really liked. Staff, ambience of the property was very homely, safe & clean. Staff takes care of you for the smallest needs, their in-house restaurant serves local, good food. You may or may not have all items on the menu, but they make sure to accommodate as much as they can. Very lively property, staff & guests.

We liked the property.

Excellent rooms and very polite & helpful staff! We arrived at around 10pm without a booked safari and Vinit at the front desk helped us make a reservation for a next-day safari at 7am. The breakfast was typical indian but with very good flavors. We stayed in January so it was quite cold, but the room had a small heater. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying for a couple of nights in Ranthambore.

It’s a bit far away from the safari points/town and they don’t have a coffee machine.

The property is nice, room was clean and comfortable. The evening cultural program at the property is also good - can help you mingle with other guests if you like. Staff members were helpful and courteous. Food was also sumptuous. Would like to stay here again if we ever visit this city in future.

Please improve bathroom drainage and provide dental kits. Kindly reduce the usage of bleach in towels and linens.

Hospitality

Shower oftentimes cold as boiler empty.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were very accommodating of our late return from a safari and having late breakfast, then provided complimentary late check out due to our change of plans. The room was spacious and clean, it was decorated beautifully and felt very luxurious. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens, with a mountain view in the background.

The only small criticism is waiting staff spitting out of the restaurant doors within sight of guests having dinner. We realise this is a cultural norm in India, but it was off-putting during our meal. Also they do not sell alcohol (typical brits!), but you can buy it and bring it in, there were a number of “English Wine” shops nearby. You can also have it brought in, but that was about x3 the price of buying it yourself. The room does have a mini fridge that can be used whilst you’re in the room and have the key in the power slot.

Attentive staff. Good food. Clean. Value for money.
