Hippocampus Beach Resort

Despite the issues I mentioned, there were still a few things I liked about the resort. The location was peaceful and serene, providing a relaxing atmosphere that allowed for a quiet stay. I also appreciated that the property had beautiful landscaping, which helped create a pleasant environment. The staff, though not always consistent, were generally polite and helpful when needed. Additionally, the room itself was spacious and the bed was comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep after a long day. While there were some drawbacks to my stay, these aspects of the property helped make the overall experience more tolerable.

There were several things I didn’t like about the property during my stay. First, there was no complimentary breakfast or even free coffee, which I felt was a basic amenity that should have been provided. It was also disappointing that they didn’t offer a welcome drink, a gesture that many resorts typically provide to make guests feel more at home. Another major downside was the high cost of items on their menu. A simple cup of black coffee, for example, was priced at 50 pesos, which I felt was overpriced for something so basic. This made me question the overall value of the resort, as many other places offer similar services at more reasonable prices. In addition, the room lacked some essential amenities. There were no utensils available, which is inconvenient if you want to eat takeout or snacks in your room. There was also no water heater, which made it difficult to enjoy a hot drink or even take a comfortable shower. All of these issues contributed to my overall dissatisfaction with the property, especially when compared to other resorts I’ve stayed at that offer much better value and service.

The property was located right on beach with an amazing view. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

It was hard to find, it’s tucked in between a dive shop and another beach resort. The beds were also super hard which I personally don’t like.
