"It is ok"

The view on this camp is great.

We booked a big family room, but it seems the staff did not properly check the room beforehand. Upon check-in, we discovered that there was no light in the bathroom. Additionally, there was no hot water, and my husband had to fix it himself. Another issue was the veranda of the big houses—it is not suitable for rainy weather because the roof is too short. As a result, it provides little to no protection. While guests in the smaller houses could sit under their roofs during the rain, we didn’t have the same option. Please consider redesigning the roof of the big houses to make it more practical. Thank you.

"Not the best stay for a family or if you don't have your own transport."

6.0

Simple compared to what we had been used to at other accommodations. The property was quite pretty and the rooms had a nice aesthetic.

The property wasn't expecting us when we arrived, not having registered our booking through Booking.com. They fit us in but there was a bit of confusion when we got there. We also had to wait for the room to be cleaned. There is no pool and the river is your only swimming spot which was fine with us until we got asked to get out one evening as 'toxic material' was being let into the river from a pipe behind the kitchen. This totally discouraged us from getting in again. Being so hot on the property there was no way to cool down other than be in our room so we ended up leaving a day early. The beds were also super uncomfortable. The restaurant wasn't serving food during the day and being a ten minute drive from any shops this was a bit inconvenient, especially travelling with kids. I must say that the staff tried their best under the circumstances and were visibly disappointed when we left a day early.

"Very good"

8.0

Very good resort (more basic than a hotel). On a river where you can swim, but BE CAREFUL as the water flow gets much stronger when they open the sluices from the nearby electric dam!! Beautiful location.

Restaurant closed from 7.30pm until 8.30am! No swimming pool (typical resort).

"Beautiful setting especially in the mornings"

7.0

Peaceful location / simple set up the setting was nice and next the the small suspension bridge , breakfast was adequate and enjoyed the restaurant location

The property was wants you would expect for the price . The staff were good but felt they tried to over charge on the boat trip activities. We paid less than half by going to the lake side .

Such a beautiful location in nature by the river, the sounds of birds, cicadas. Swimming in the river and a bamboo raft trip directly from the camp was brilliant! Lovely cabin with beautiful flowering plants hanging down keeping it shaded. Semi outdoor bathroom and balcony to enjoy the view. Good food in the restaurant most days, Film staff member was really helpful for onward travel and trips.

A couple of meals were lack lustre versions of dishes that had been fabulous a day or so before, so assumed a different chef at times.

"Go to the Belong Jin The Dam Resort 5 minutes up there road instead."

7.0

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, close to main roads and shops if needed.

Very expensive for what you get. Expensive restaurant on site too! No kettle, rooms need TLC and bathroom wasn’t clean. A horrendous breakfast!! One of the worst we have had travelling. Tours arranged through the camp arrive much earlier than you are told, this is something other guests experienced, tour operators are extremely rude when they arrive half an hour early and shout at you to be ready after banging on your door… Not impressed… A couple of minutes up the road is a hotel called The Belong Jin the Dam resort. We went there to finish off our stay. It was cheaper, clean, had excellent food and service, lovely room, private pool. It was delightful!
