Rio Agujitas Eco Farm hostel and Tours

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It was a unique experience to sleep in the middle of the jungle. Elmer and his brother were really nice and made us feel at home. The food is incredible!

As mentioned, this place is in the jungle so its easily accessible. That can be impractical of you want to do activities in the city.

Great location in the middle of the jungle, attentive host - when I couldn't get to the hostel due to the rain, he let me stay in another room in town (which even was an upgrade to the one I booked)

The dinners had less variety of food than what I saw in the photos or read other travelers say in their reviews.

For us the location was rather inconvenient. We took the afternoon boat from Sierpe to Drake Bay. The Farm is located up the hill, quite deep in the forest. We reached just before it got dark. To get there one has to cross two creeks with the water up to the thigh, while not knowing what creatures may lurk in the water.

The hosts, food and location are great! The location is a bit remote and getting there is a little adventure, but I loved it. You will have a full jungle experience when you get there. They have some additional trails you can hike and the tours they offered are great too.

Nothing! But keep in mind it can feel a bit basic because you are in the jungle. I strongly recommend to go if you love nature!

Beautiful jungle surroundings! Perfect for exploring birds, animals and plants! Great waterfall trail. Very much enjoyed our tours booked through the hostel. Wilbert was very accomodating!

you really are in the middle of the jungle but in the best way! The whole stay is an adventure and the property is beautiful! Definitely worth a visit
