Windjammer Resort and Beach Club

Right on the beach 🏖️ For the price, I wish the bed was a king size. The queen size bed is a bit tight for my husband and me. But the bed was comfortable. The place is dated, but they are keeping up with the constant damage caused by the salt water.

The location was perfect. You can see the sunrise over the beach from the hotel. It's as close to the beach as possible, and the beach itself is quiet and clean. They provide everything you need for a day at the beach, such as chairs and umbrellas (though no coolers, which would have been great). We stayed in a two-bedroom suite that required using the elevator to travel between the two rooms. I found this a bit annoying at first, but my kids loved it.

The terrace is in the room downstairs and the kitchen is in the room upstairs, so it's too complicated to eat on the terrace outside if you have to take the elevator every time to bring back and forth your food and supplies. So we didn't used the terrasse except to dry clothes and towels. We ate inside during all of our stay.

The location of Windjammer is perfect! Right on the beach and super close to walk to restaurants and shops.

The location of this property is great, right on the beach and they provide beach chairs and umbrellas for you to borrow free of charge. Loved waking up, opening the door and being able to see the ocean. 5 minute walk from all the main bars and restaurants, which are busy enough but not too busy in June. Saw some great live musicians in the bars. Property is kept very clean. Never had an issue getting a sunlounger or umbrella by the pool at any time of day.

The only thing the property could improve on is the decor and furniture which is dated, but to be honest you know this before you book because it is shown in the pictures. If it was a bit more modern it would be perfect. However, we spent little time in the room so this isn't really an issue.
